A/N So this is just a quick, fun story. I wrote it quickly to get into the Chrismukkah spirit. So please review, if only to tell me it was the stupidest thing you've ever read. I'll laugh at it all with you. So I hope you have fun reading it, and MERRY CHRISMUKKAH!!
Twas the Night Before Chrismukkah in the large Cohen House. Seth Cohen was trying to be stealth like a mouse.
He slowly opened his door, holding his breath. By now we're all wondering, what are you doing Seth?
He had a goal, to get to the Christmas Tree. There the presents were wrapped and he just had to see...
Did he get what he asked for, that new comic book? He had to know, just one quick look.
He made his way down the hall, trying not to make a peep. He didn't want to wake his parents from their deep sleep.
They'd tell Ryan who would roll his eyes and probably ask, "Why ruin the surprise?"
No one understood, Seth thought as he reached the bottom floor. He went the the kitchen and opened the refrigerator door.
He grabbed the eggnog, and got some to drink. As he drank, he started to think.
What was the best way to find out what he got? He could tear the wrapping paper, as long as it was a little and not a lot.
He'd done that once before and his parents found out about the tear. The next morning they'd given him the 'death glare.'
Surely the same would happen this time too. So now he had to come up with plan number two.
He could pick up the gifts and shake them around. When he knew what it was, he'd set it down.
It was a perfect plan, nothing could possibly go wrong. He should have thought of this all along.
He set his drink down and then walked away. This was the moment he'd waited for all day.
With quick, quiet steps, he walked to the gifts. He smiled, it didn't get better than this.
He found a gift with his name on top. He observed it like a curious cop.
It was squarish, wrapped, and even had a bow. The wrapping paper had large letters that said, 'Let it snow!'
He carefully picked it up, turning it over in his hands. Maybe it was a CD by one of his favorite bands.
He placed it down and grabbed another one to his right. This one's paper was completely white.
He picked it up and studied its look. By the shape, he decided it must be a book.
He grabbed another and gave it a quick shake. That's when he heard something break.
He gasped, Oh no, this was really bad! The next morning his parents would surely get mad!
With quick, hurried steps, he backed away from it all. Then, to his surprise, he began to fall.
He reached out and grabbed what he could. The tree came tumbling down like he figured it would.
With a long, deep sigh, he waited for his parents to come. They'd think he looked really, really dumb.
Sure enough, his parents showed up soon. They were quiet as they observed the room.
Their laughter came next and he gave them a glare. They continued to laugh as he just lay there.
"Just help me up!" He snapped, starting to get mad. His mom left the room, leaving him alone with his dad.
Sandy just stared, smirking at his son. Kirsten followed by Ryan came to join the fun.
Ryan looked at Seth and laughed and rolled his eyes. He said, "Seth, you never fail to surprise."
He picked up the tree and Seth stood up. He dusted himself off and asked, "So...whazzup?"
Twas the night before Chrismukkah and there was a mess on the floor. But Seth brings the Cohens together for the holidays once more.
