So... I edited this because I found out I have nothing else to do. So, technically, this story is going to be updated very slowly and would only be continued if i have ideas. That's all and well, enjoy.
Chapter 1-Her Attitude
Hibari Kyoya was definitely not a fan of Valentine's Day. He hated it with a passion, the atmosphere was just unbearable. He hated the couples on the streets when he patrolled, kissing, hugging and holding hands just about everywhere he could walk. And chocolates. Kyoya definitely hated chocolates.
Specially the pile lying on his desk.
Now, Kyoya had a reputation for being the strongest, mightiest and most demonic person in Namimori. He could beat up just about anyone and scare the shit out of men twice his size with a single "I'll bite you to death." Kyoya was well respected, famous, and he had his strongly protected pride. When he was younger and less brutal, people had called him quite attractive.
Unfortunately, the opinion still didn't seem to change with the amount of fangirls he had, and possibly worse, fanboys.
Kyoya glared at the offending pile of sweets, hoping that by his death glare, they'll melt and leave him alone. Chocolates were never the teen's favorite. He hated things too sweet, and things too childish or 'herbivorous', as he had kindly quoted. He was strong, prideful, a man nearly impossible to beat.
Ah, perhaps with the exception of chocolates.
Those stupid sweets he could never get rid of.
Kyoya decided to throw away the chocolates, in a huge recycle bin, seeing as those sweet abominations annoyed him to no end. He'll ask Tetsu to dispose of them later, though he was fairly sure that the vice chairman would distribute the sweets to the other members of the committee. He didn't care though. As long as the chocolates were gone, he would be fine.
As Kyoya 'put away' the chocolates, as his mother would've said if she was here, he was interrupted by a knock on the door. Kyoya's mood had dropped low, and a chat with another common herbivore was not something he needed at the moment. Kyoya hoped that he person outside had a little bit of common sense and leave him alone, so he ignored the knocks that were becoming more and more forceful at the moment.
Adding once more to the series of unfortunate events Kyoya had been experiencing this Valentine's Day, the door was kicked forcefully open by a petite little girl who only reached his chest.
Thinking clearly, Kyoya recognized the girl as one of the students, a class president, if he remembered right. He had seen her around, talking with her herbivorous friends in their own herbivorous world. She was smart, but ordinary, the way he saw it. To him, she was just another one of the many other herbivores in this tainted world. He had to reexamine his information, however.
A girl, who could kick a door down, couldn't possibly be normal.
Kyoya stared at the girl in front of him, holding a pile of paper in her hands.
"Excuse me Prefect-San, but our teacher wanted you to sign this." She said, no trace of fear or hesitation at all in her voice.
Didn't she know him?
Kyoya looked at the girl and glared at her, saying that one catchphrase that had scared so many before her.
"I'll bite you to death."
Kyoya stared at the girl who didn't even flinch.
"Umm... Okay, after you do that, could you sign the papers so I may leave?" She said.
Curious, Kyoya asked, "Herbivore. Who are you?"
"Keilah Garcia, from class 2-A, prefect-san."
Of course he knew that. But there was something off about the girl. Why wouldn't she fear him? Maybe she didn't know who he was?
"Do you know who I am?" He asked, intimidating, but the girl did not even respond.
"No." She said straightly and Kyoya smirked. She didn't know, huh? Then maybe, he'll 'introduce' himself.
"My name is Hibari Kyoya, the demon of Namimori. I bite to death all the herbivores who come in my way. Get in my way and I'll bite you to death, herbivore."
Keilah blinked then told him. "To me, you just sound like one big bully, Hibari-san."
"I do not bully. I protect the peace."
Keilah looked around, when her eyes laid eyes on the chocolates Kyoya was trying to dispose.
"You're throwing chocolates away?" She asked, determination sparkling in her eyes.
"If I am?" Kyoya taunted, interested at the determined side the other teen showed.
"People use money to buy that."
"I did not tell the people to buy me that"
Keilah gritted her teeth in annoyance. "Some people die of hunger and you go around wasting food?"
"It's not my fault they could not feed themselves."
"Gay Chocolate Bully." Keilah muttered, the insult annoying the raven completely. He was a respected man, no one, and he means NO ONE should even dare insult him.
"I'll bite you to death." He said, taking out his tonfas and pointing it at the girl.
Keilah simply stood, despite knowing that her death was near. The prefect was annoyed, and maybe by the twisted works of fate, she was part of the group of people Kyoya had marked as "in my way." If so, then her death was near. If not, then she'll thank every god in existence.
Kyoya glared, took out his tonfas, but the girl remained impassive with that striking determined look still in her eyes. Kyoya wanted to scare her, take that look off her, once she realizes that she is nothing but another of the many carnivores that had come before her. But her bravery remained, and Kyoya knew, he'll have one hell of a great time breaking her.
He swung his tonfas, and stopped it within a few centimeters from her face. She didn't even blink because it was her own way of fighting back. Kyoya turned his back on the girl, knowing that she was not one to give up easily and threw the chocolates at her.
"Get rid of it." Keilah caught it, and proceeded to glare at the raven teen in front of her.
As the raven was about to leave, Keilah held him back with a hand holding his wrist, keeping him from moving.
"Hibari-san, the papers, sign them so I can leave." She ordered, and Kyoya knew he had to, it was an obligation, his job.
He turned his back on the girl, who looked at him with equal annoyance as he regarded her with. It was mutual hatred, and he smirked. This girl was a good fight.
He stared at the girl who remained calm, yet her eyes remained alert and expecting an attack. Kyoya was impressed. The girl was quite a little carnivore, she was evasive, and unlike most, did it well.
Winning against her would be a great feat, another of the wins that'll boost his pride.
"Thank you Hibari-san." Keilah said as he finished the papers, and the girl could at last, head back to class.
"Hn. Annoying herbivore."
Keilah looked more annoyed. "Chocolate Murderer, you don't know how much I want to kill you right now."
Kyoya smirked at the threat. "I like to see you try, herbivore."
"One day, I swear I'm gonna dance on your ashes after I burn down your corpse."
"Hn."
Keilah left, leaving the amused prefect on his own. Amusing. The girl was definitely one of a kind. A herbivore, but fairly carnivorous as well.
She'd kill him one day, huh?
Kyoya picked up a blue phone lying lost in the floor. The girl had left it there under some circumstances he wasn't curious about.
He was definitely honest when he said that he'd love to see her try.
And that was the day Kusakabe fainted, when he entered the room, seeing the demon of Namimori, Hibari Kyoya, holding a mysterious blue phone...
With a rare, apocalyptic, SMILE.
