The Beginning of the Dragon
The Evorian Empire just came back from raiding another planet. They had a victory.
"That was easy as pie!" said Count Zygon.
"Yes, it was, dear!" said Countess Zeforia.
"Okay," said Count Zygon, "so, where should we conquer next?"
"How about the planet Earth?" asked Asfor.
"Yeah," said Phorio, "they are simple beings. It shouldn't be a problem!"
"Yes, dear," said Countess Zeforia, "they will make excellent slaves!"
"Then, it's settled," said Count Zygon, "we will attack Earth! Planet Patrol fighters, go down and attack Earth!"
The Planet Patrol fighters went to attack Star City. As the fighters were attacking the city, the people began to panic and run wild in fear. Some sought solace in their homes. They called the police. The police came, but when they saw what they were dealing with, they retreated and told a lie to the police chief so that they would not be viewed as psychotic. Then, the SWAT team came in, and they did the same. They also left the situation. The city of Star City then sounded their emergency alarm, which meant that anyone who was on the streets and if they get caught by the police officers, they would be arrested.
"Look!" said Countess Zeforia, "they're cowering!"
"I see," said Count Zygon, "it appears that we already won! Let's sit back and let the Planet Patrol do their job."
"I agree," said Countess Zeforia.
Count Zygon brought chairs for himself and his wife. And after they sat down, they watched the Planet Patrol do their job in the city. They were enjoying the moment. Suddenly, Slervon came into the room and approached Count Zygon.
"Hey, boss!" said Slervon, "I have the ultimate idea!"
"Well," said Count Zygon, "what is it?"
"Have you heard of the mysterious Dragon Stones?" asked Slervon.
"No, why?" asked Count Zygon.
"They are in the Nedor Mountains," said Slervon, "if we get our hands on them, we'll be more powerful than ever!"
"Well," said Count Zygon, "since you know what they are, I suggest that you go and find them. I'm also sending Phorio with you."
"Okay, boss," said Slervon.
Slervon left to go to the Nedor Mountains. Now, someone was spying on them, and she walked away, but she wasn't undetected. Slervon heard her footsteps.
"Boss," said Slervon, "I swear that someone was in here spying on us!"
Then, Count Zygon looked in direction, and he saw no one there.
"Well," said Count Zygon, "there's nothing that we can do about it now. Hopefully, there should be no problem."
Suddenly, the spy went back to the Flower Kingdom. She called her mother.
"Mother," said Orpheera.
"Yes," said Estria, "what is it?"
"The Evorian Empire is trying to take over the galaxy again!" said Orpheera, "and what's worse, they plan on getting the Dragon Stones!"
"And how do you know this?" asked Estria.
"I was spying on them," said Orpheera.
"Orpheera!" said Estria, "how many times do I have to tell you not to go spying on the enemy! If I lose you, it could be the death of me!"
"Sorry," said Orpheera.
"Well, anyway," said Estria, "we need to get our hands on the Dragon Stones before they do. If they get their hands on those stones, it could mean the end of the galaxy! So, where were they going?"
"I think that they said the Nedor Mountains," said Orpheera.
"Well," said Estria, "there's no time to waste. We must hurry, or we could lose the galaxy!"
"Right," said Orpheera.
Orpheera and Estria quickly packed everything that they needed for the trip, and they headed to the Nedor mountains. They began climbing the Nedor mountains in search for the Dragon Stones. What they didn't know is that Phorio and Slervon were climbing the Nedor mountains on the other side. Now, they both found a cave, and they decided to inspect it. They saw the Dragon Stones sitting on top of a stone. They all lunged for them, but Phorio and Slervon knocked them aside.
"No!" said Estria.
After Phorio tried to grab the Dragon Stones, the stones emitted an electric charge that knocked Phorio into the cave wall.
"Let me try!" said Slervon.
Slervon also tried to get his hands on the Dragon Stones, but the same thing happened to him. He was also knocked into the cave wall. Then, Estria tried the pick up the Dragon Stones, and she was able to pick them up, and there was no electrical charge.
"I guess somehow that the stones can sense the difference between good and evil!" said Estria.
The Dragon Stones glowed intermittently in her hands. Slervon and Phorio became angry. So, they proceeded to blast the ceiling of the cave in order to cause the cave to cave in.
"If we can't have them, nobody will!" said Slervon.
Phorio and Slervon left the scene. Estria and Orpheera hurried out of the cave, and they made it safely outside. They climbed down the mountain and headed back to the Flower Kingdom.
"Do you have the Dragon Stones?" asked Estria.
"Yes, I do," said Orpheera.
Orpheera presented the Dragon Stones to her mother.
"Good job," said Estria, "now, let's head back to the Temple of Luma."
Orpheera and Estria went back to the Temple of Luma, which is a nearby temple in the Flower Garden.
Now, Maurice just came back from his factory job, and he returned home safely, and the police did not catch him driving on the road. He made a light dinner, cleaned up the preparations, and went straight to bed, hoping for a good night's sleep. Unfortunately, that did not happen. Suddenly, there was a light that surrounded his front doorway. The light was so bright that he could not stay asleep.\
"What's going on?" said Maurice as he woke up.
He slowly got out of bed and went to approach the lighted doorway. He opened the door, expecting to see the outside world, but he saw a dimension of light. He walked through the door, and as he entered, he could no longer see his doorway. He looked back, but the doorway wasn't there. He had no idea where he was. He looked around and saw nothing but golden light.
"Where am I?" asked Maurice to himself.
Suddenly, what appeared to be a figure with a feminine shape appeared in his view. He saw her and had his eyes fixated on her. She approached him and then, she came into view.
"Who are you?" asked Maurice.
"I'm Shauna," said the woman, "do you know what's going on here?"
"I was hoping you knew," said Maurice, "by the way, my name's Maurice Sims, nice to meet you. So, what do we do now?"
"I don't know," said Shauna, "we should probably take each others' hands so that we don't get lost!"
"Yeah," said Maurice, "let's do that!"
Maurice took Shauna's hand, and they began to walk together. Soon, three more figures came into view, and Maurice and Shauna stopped walking. It appeared to be two men and a woman. Maurice's and Shauna's eyes were fixated on them as the three of them approached them. Soon, they came into view.
"Who are you?" asked Maurice.
"I'm Ying," said the woman.
"I'm Nick," said one of the men.
"And I'm Jose," said the other man, "nice to meet you."
"I'm Maurice," said Maurice, "and this is Shauna."
"Hi!" said Shauna, "nice to meet you!"
"Do you guys know what's going on here?" asked Nick.
"No," said Shauna, "we were hoping that you knew!"
"I see," said Nick.
"Let's stay together," said Shauna, "at least, we won't get more lost than we already are!"
"Right!" said Ying.
They walked together, and they saw each other as they walked. Suddenly, a feminine voice appeared above them. All five of them were looking everywhere for the source.
"Where are you?" asked Maurice.
Suddenly, a feminine, angelic figure descended from above the dimension and came to the ground. The five of them had their eyes fixated on her. It was Estria. Then, Orpheera also descended from above.
"Who are you?" asked Jose.
"My name is Estria," said Estria, "and this is Orpheera, my daughter. We are Rydarians. Our planet is in the Nedor Galaxy."
"So," said Jose, "why are we here?"
"We brought you here on an emergency basis," said Estria, "the Earth is under attack by an empire that is known as the Evorian Empire. Now, we will give you what you need to fight these guys."
Suddenly, Estria opened a briefcase. Inside, there were five Dragon Stones. The rangers stared at them.
"What are these?" asked Shauna.
"This are the Dragon Stones!" said Estria, "they are the source of your powers. Go ahead, take one!"
Suddenly, the Dragon Stones began to glow. The five of them slowly took the Dragon Stones, and then, suddenly, what looked like a morpher appeared on their wrists. The rangers were astonished.
"What are these?" asked Ying.
"Those are your Dragon Morphers," said Estria, "they will allow you to become Power Rangers. Therefore, you should be known as Power Rangers Dragon Dash. Maurice, you will be the red ranger. Ying, you will be the yellow ranger. Shauna, you will be the white ranger. Nick, you will be the green ranger. And finally, Jose, you will be the blue ranger. Maurice, you are the team captain."
"Team captain? Me?" asked Maurice, "are you sure that you have the right guy?"
"I'm quite sure," said Estria.
"Okay," said Maurice.
"Okay," said Shuana, "how do we work these things?"
"All that you have to say is, 'Extreme Power!'. Then you will morph into your respective rangers," said Estria, "go ahead and try them!"
"Here goes nothing!" said Maurice, "extreme power!"
Then, Maurice morphed into the red ranger. Maurice was astonished by the suit. The others also looked on. The rangers suits were part black and the ranger color. The women wore mini-skirts. They had an emblem of a dragon on their chests. Then, Maurice powered down.
"That was so cool!" said Maurice.
"Yeah!" said Shauna.
Maurice is a 6' 2" African-American. Shauna is a 5' 7" Caucasian American. She is a blue-eyed blonde. Ying is a 5' 6" Chinese-American. Nick is 6' 3", and he is Caucasian American. He has hazel eyes and light brown hair. Jose is a 6' Hispanic-American.
"I'm not done yet," said Estria, "let me show you the Temple of Luma."
"Okay," said Nick.
The five of them followed Estria into the Temple of Luma. After they walked inside, they were astonished by the architecture of the building.
"What is this place?" asked Jose.
"This is the Temple of Luma," said Estria, "it was built by our ancestors. Follow me; there's more that I have to show you."
"Okay," said Shauna.
The five of them followed Estria and Orpheera into the basement. What was in the basement resembled a base.
"What is this place?" asked Ying.
"This is the base," said Estria, "this is your base of operations."
"Cool!" said Nick.
They were astonished by the degree of technology in the base.
"This place is amazing!" said Shauna.
"Yeah!" said Maurice.
Suddenly, the alarm sounded in the base. It bothered their ears at first.
"What is that?" asked Jose.
"That's the alarm," said Estria, "it sounds when there is trouble in the universe."
"I see," said Ying.
"Right now," said Estria, "some of the Planet Patrol is harassing citizens. If you want to try out your powers, then, that time would be now."
"Right!" said Maurice, "it's morphin' time!"
"Extreme power!" said the rangers as they morphed.
Then they arrived on the scene.
"Alright, guys!" said Maurice, "let's do this!"
The rangers were able to defeat most of the Planet Patrol. Some Planet Patrol soldiers shot lasers from their eyes, but it was no problem for the Power Rangers; they were able to defeat them. Now, they could not defeat all of the Planet Patrol soldiers, because Count Zygon took the remainder back to the Evorian base.
"Yeah!" said Maurice, "and don't come back!"
"Who are these freaks of nature?" asked Count Zygon.
"They call themselves the Power Rangers, dear!" said Countess Zeforia, "they are a bunch of do-gooders! I hate them!"
"Don't fret, my dear," said Count Zygon, "we will have victory whether they like it or not."
The rangers returned to the Temple of Luma.
"That was fun!" said Shauna.
"Yeah," said Maurice.
"Now, everyone," said Estria, "you haven't used the powers to their potential."
"What do you mean?" asked Jose.
"There are more to your powers. When a monster grows giant, you can call on the powers of the dragons. That is another reason why you are called Power Rangers Dragon Dash. When a monster grows giant or when you need them, you can call upon the dragons. Jose, you have the ice dragon. Nick, you have the earth dragon. Ying, you have the electric dragon. Shauna, you have the wind dragon. And Maurice, you have the fire dragon. When these dragons combine, they can form the Dragon Power Megazord. It has all five of your powers together in one powerhouse. It is equipped with the Dragon Saber. It is a mighty weapon. Speaking of weapons, you have some at your disposal. Each of you have two blasters and one sword. You also have individual weapons. Jose, you have the ice lance. Nick, you have the earth ax. Ying, you have the electric daggers. Shauna, you have the wind shield. And finally, Maurice, you have the fire sword. These are very powerful weapons. Together, these weapons will form the Dragon Bazooka. Now, are there any questions?" asked Estria.
They looked at each other and said nothing.
"Now, these powers do sound great," said Estria, "but they also come with some ground rules."
"Uh, oh," said Nick.
"You'll be fine!" said Orpheera.
"Keep your and others' identities as a secret. Fight fair. Work as a team. And finally, don't use your powers for personal gain. Can you do that?" asked Estria.
"We sure can," said Ying, "and I believe that I speak for all of us!"
The others smiled.
"Good," said Estria, "then, welcome aboard! Feel free to see what is in the temple. You can go and come as you please. And remember; as a ranger, you are always on duty."
They all smiled and went their way.
