After seeing how successful my "We're Home" story became, I decided to do this other idea that's been chewing on my mind for a few days now. If you've seen the credits of Toy Story 3, you'd see how much happier all the toys at Sunnyside are and how they take in the abuse of the younger kids while allowing the other toys to enjoy being played with by the older kids.
If you must know, Stretch, besides Twitch, is my favorite Sunnyside toy in the movie. When I first saw her, I had NO idea she was a girl! And she's voiced by Whoopi Goldberg, my idol! :D
Looking through the character searches, I was disappointed when they didn't have any stories on any of the other characters, besides Dolly and Trixie and Bonnie. So I'm proud to be the first to write a story that centers around the lovely, sparkling, purple octopus. :)
With three little surprises that'll have you 'squeaking' for more! ;)

"I can't do this!" Chunk whined as he stood his ground.
"Chunk, you weren't scared when you've been played by the Toddlers of Terror, so you shouldn't be afraid of this!" Stretch shouted to him from what seemed to be across the room.
"That was different!" The rock monster toy said as he looked from left to right. "Now I'm up against real monsters!"
"May I remind you that you yourself is a manufactured monster toy designed likely for bone-crushing and head-butting and all that stuff you're suppose to not be afraid to do?" Stretch sighed with exasperation.
"I'm a toy, not The Thing!" Chunk cried.
"Well, either way, buddy," Stretch said with a light chuckle, "it's clobberin' time!"
Chunk gulped as he walked through the butterfly room, staying on high alert, waiting whatever it was he was awaiting.
"Alright…" He said, nearly choking on his own words. "Come on out…"
Suddenly, he was tackled to the ground, the laughter of kids drowning the noise of his muffling against the age-old carpet.
"We got you!" Laughed one of the child-like toys, a small plastic chipmunk.
Chunk rolled over and laughed heartily as one of the smaller, rounder chipmunk toys drummed against his chest playfully.
"Well, talk about search and destroy," Stretch laughed as she Barbie, Ken, and Twitch came over and watched Chunk gather the three plastic chipmunk toys together.
These three new toys had arrived a few hours ago, and Barbie and Ken needed one of their own to take care of the little chipmunk figurines. Seeing how innocent and confused the newcomers were with the new world they were introduced to after being in an attic for so long after their owner had grown and left many years ago, someone needed to 'babysit' them.
Babysitting wasn't the word to describe it after seeing right through their adorable exterior to see what troublemakers they were, especially the leader.
Taming was a better term.
When the chipmunks arrived in a small box donated to Sunnyside, as always, the other toys welcomed them. Though the three little toys were surprised, and almost frightened, they were easily soothed when Stretch carefully brought each of them down from the table and placed them on the floor to meet their new friends. Barbie and Ken won them over easily with their charming personalities and eagerness to welcome them to the Sunnyside family…mostly Barbie.
The three chipmunks became completely infatuated as soon as they had a good look of the doll's smiling, plastic face with gorgeous blue eyes and blushing cheeks and tinted pink lips.
Stretch found it funny when one of them, the leader, tried to play it smooth and act like an adult when all three of them had the figures and minds of children.
The leader of his chipmunk brothers was Allen, and Stretch knew they would definitely have to keep and eye on him, considering he was the most rebellious out of the three.
Then there was Sullivan, whom could be pointed out on account of the glasses he wore that almost looked similar to Bookworm's. Mild-mannered and very well-behaved (until Allen would drag him into another one of his crazy schemes), Stretch knew he wouldn't be too much trouble.
And then there was the smallest of the bunch, Tilford. He was the shyest and most sweetest of the three, plus his huge, adorable eyes could melt anyone's plastic heart. Keeping an eye on him would be no problem.
And after the chaos they had done while exploring the 'world outside their attic' earlier, which resulted in Twitch falling into a restroom toilet and Ken having to search for one of his neck scarves and a few building blocks falling down, the adult toys had to draw straws deciding who would have to take in the three little guys.
And Chunk ended up with the shortest straw.
"How's it feel to be nanny-ing these guys? Twitch chuckled as he watched Chunk gently grab the three chipmunks by their plastic tales as they tried to run off to make more trouble.
"Getting played by little children is nothing compared to this!" He exclaimed.
"Well, be happy recess is almost over," Stretch told him as she looked down at the three chipmunks level. "Sorry, kids, fun's over."
The three groaned.
"But, mister," Allen whined, "I didn't even twist Chunk's head around!"
The fact that the rebellious chipmunk had referred to Stretch as a man had the toy octopus quiet as she took it in.
"Allen!" Sullivan whispered harshly to him. "She already told us she's a girl!"
"Well, excuse me!" Allen retorted. "I can't tell since she doesn't have eyelashes, make-up, or even hair. She's not like Barbie!"
"Okay, don't argue, kids," Barbie intervened as she stood between the brothers, "you need to get to your places right away before the kids come in, okay?"
"Yes, Barbie," Allen said with a dazed expression on his face as Sullivan took his paw and dragged him away while Chunk led the brothers to a certain area.
"He called me a guy on purpose, didn't he?" Stretch muttered as soon as the chipmunks were out of earshot. She glared at Twitch and Ken as they tried to hold their laughter. "Oh, shut up."
"Sorry, sir," Twitch chuckled, "I mean…ma'am."
Stretch was about to reach over and strangle him with all eight of her arms when the bell rang, indicating that recess was over.
"Well, off to the caterpillar room," Twitch said as he and the others quickly walked out the front door before the older kids came through the back.
"Oh, don't you just think those chipmunks are so adorable?" Barbie swooned as they and a few of the other toys gathered under a nearby bench as soon as the toddlers ran into the caterpillar room. "Did you see the way they looked at us?"
"No," Stretch muttered, "but I certainly can remember the way that Al boy was looking at you."
"Oh, Stretch," Barbie gave a giggle, "you're not still upset because they thought you were a guy, are you?"
"Even though I've told them twenty times I'm a woman?" Stretch said with a scoff as she folded two of her arms. "No, I'm all sunshine and lollipops, sugar…"
"Good!" Barbie chirped before she turned to the toys who sat around, anticipating for a turn to be played and be dealt with by the younger kids. "Who's up?"
"I'm in," Twitch said as he got up and walked from underneath the bench and lay flat.
"Going for the record with ten minutes?" Ken asked as he checked him on the list.
"You better believe it," Twitch said as a hand grabbed his leg and dragged him off.
After that joke he made earlier, Stretch hoped one of his parts got swallowed.

If you know your Pixar movies, you'd recall that 'Sullivan' is the name of the blue monster from Monsters Inc. ;)
