SNEAK PEAK: LET ME KNOW IF YOU LIKE AS IN
REVIEWWWWWWWWWWWW
You know in First grade? When you found that new best friend and the whole world changed right before eyes? You know that feeling? Once you get older? How hard it is to except yourself and life? Well I know those feelings. And as stupid as this may sound; I found comfort in a book. I found a new best friend when things weren't going my way. I only picked twilight off the shelves after seeing the movie and absolutely falling in love with it. And this is a story of a girl who dreamed a bit too much, and had twilight as a life changer.
How it all started…
It was September and there was a book fair at my middle school. I had never heard of Twilight in my life before this book fair. I was looking through the movie posters because I had no interest in books whatsoever. Most of my fellow 7th grade friends were avid readers. I however, scoffed so effortlessly at books, not matter how big or small. I enjoyed magazines and painting my nails and theater. I was into acting because I had been doing it ever since I was little. I kind of wish my mom had put me into something cool like gymnastics, or gotten me those leap frog things to make me smart from a young age. But theater is pretty cool I guess; acting is a good thing to have in your pocket.
So I as a was sifting through the posters I spotted one that quite interesting. A girl with pink lips and flowing brown hair was looking at me and a boy was looking overhead of her. My friend Jessica came over to grab the poster. And let me tell you from the start, she was WEIRD! She was into all this dark and creepy stuff.
"You like Twilight Hayley?" she asked me hoping we would have something to talk about. I kind of just looked at her and thought for a moment. If she liked this so called Twilight? Then it must be weird.
"Nope, I was just looking," I said.
I had to admit, I was really interested in the poster. It was the only one that caught my attention…but then again a lot of things caught my attention. So why should this be any different? I walked away from the posters hoping to avoid Jessica.
When I looked around I saw my very close friend Taylor coming over to talk with me. She was a tall, blonde goodie-goodie who liked a good read every now and then. I remember her trying to talk about a book with me once…the conversation didn't get very far. She was a cool person though, out of the forty-seven kids in my grade. It was one of the smallest schools in the state of New Jersey. Each grade had the same amount of kids…give or take a few. Sixth, seventh and eighth grade is what the school held.
I however, I was a short, bleach blonde (by hair dye) ,tiny and a spunk ball. I was not a goodie-goodie, I didn't enjoy a good read every now and then and I was not quite like Taylor…we were complete opposites.
Xoxo~ more? This is just a sneak peak! Let me knowwww!
