Stop the Bleeding

Reno POV. R&R.

I was falling. Falling quickly. Towards the center of the Planet. I fell like a stone, and expected to die. I closed my eyes, but nothing happened. I found myself floating, floating in water. It was a pool of water. Nothing else around it. I stared around helplessly. Was this really the Lifestream? I waded around, looking for an answer. None came. As I stared around, I began to feel an uprising in my body, and it burned through me. I dipped my head under the water and held it there with my hand. I struggled fruitlessly against myself. Nothing was allowing me to come back. I was unable to hold my breath. Water seeped into my face and waterlogged me, and that was all I remembered.

When I woke up, I found myself on a beach. It was a dark beach, with sand and water. Nothing else. I felt lonely, sad, and tired. I beat against the sand with my fists, and they began to burn. Fire was spreading through them. I dashed for the Lifestream, but I fell over and the fire spread through my body. I keeled over. "Oh god, I'm going to die..." I thought as I began to get burned. Third degree burns attacked my skin, and I felt myself losing control. I fainted again.

As I sat up, I found myself on a solitary rock in the middle of the Lifestream. I was burned all over. I stood up and dived into the cool water to soothe my burns, but they made the burns flare up, into blue flames. I screamed and bawled and then...I did not wake up.
