AN: Is love a one shot where Jude acts out and gets grounded by the moms!

Jude was always a good kid. He sat quietly at the table, used proper manners, did not speak unless spoken to, followed the rules, did his chores, and got along with everybody. So, when Lena was told by the principal that Jude had gotten into a fight, one that he started, she was utterly shocked. That night, she talked to Stef about it, and they called Jude downstairs into the kitchen for a conversation.
"What happened in school today?" Lena said calm as ever.
"This kid kept teasing me about my nail polish. He said it was girly, and made fun of me." Jude looked down in shame, thinking he had done something bad. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have punched him, please don't send me away." He was so frightened this would be the last straw, what with Callie acting out certain times.
"Jude, baby, we would never. We just want you to understand that it's never okay to hurt someone." Stef said as she grabbed my hand. Suddenly he pulled it away.
"But he hurt me. He called me gay, and said I should wear a skirt and pigtails. He made it sound like it was horrible to be gay. Two of the three best moms I have are gay. He hurt me." Jude whispered out that last part.
"Aww sweets c'mere. We love you. And we want you to feel safe. If people say things like that to you, go and find Lena, or another adult, and walk away. Don't let them bother you." Stef said in a soothing tone.
"We're going to ground you for the weekend, just to make sure the other kids don't think we are playing favorites okay buddy?" Lena said laughing. Jude laughed a little too.
"Yeah, okay. But can I have some ice. My hand is killing me."
"Sure, but first, Mommy sandwich." Stef and Lena both hugged him and squeezed him tight, and he knew that this was his family.
