James is, in fact, asexual. All the sex he has is purely for the sake of the job. It's just the most effective way to get information, or occasionally cause a distraction. The flirting he does at MI6; just a smoke screen to keep up appearances. No one wants to admit to striking out with 007, so no one ever mentions that they didn't actually sleep with him. How does this affect Bond emotionally? Does he want a loving, romantic relationship, but thinks there is too much in the way?

I'd like to see someone, I'm leaning towards Q, start to see through Bond's façade. How does Q respond to this? I'm looking for h/c and angst, at least at the beginning. I'm not opposed to 00Q, provided Bond stays on the asexual spectrum.

To quote Imadra Blue's excellent story Damage(d) – "I'm a very well-paid whore."
