Chocolate Strawberry Kisses
Draco was in a foul mood. Not only had he been kept late at work, but today was his and Harry's first year anniversary, and it appeared that the jerk had forgotten.
No card.
No present.
Hell, not even a kiss good morning. Harry had been gone when Draco woke up, leaving behind nothing but cold sheets and a note on the fridge that he'd been called into work early.
Letting himself into the flat they shared, Draco stripped his cloak off and hung it up in the hallway, and took his shoes off, putting them onto the stand.
He walked into the lounge, stopping dead at the door.
The room was lit with soft candlelight and the fireplace, warmth spilling out over the room. Harry sat on a blanket, leaning back against a mountain of pillows. There were three presents on the low coffee table, along with three platters of food and a bottle of wine with two long stemmed glasses.
"You thought I forgot," Harry murmured as he stood, approaching Draco slowly. He drew the blonde to him, pressing soft kisses on his jaw.
"I did," Draco admitted, gripping Harry's hips with his hands. "I should have known really, Gryffindor that you are."
Harry rolled his eyes, pulling Draco over to the blanket. They sat, and Draco let out a sigh of contentment at the softness of the pillow.
Harry turned to the table before shuffling forward. "Open," he demanded softly, running a chocolate covered strawberry over Draco's lips.
Draco took a bite of the strawberry, feeling a trail of juice slip down his face. Harry leant forward and licked it up, pressing his lips against Draco's when he reached them.
"Happy anniversary, Draco."
Draco smiled, twining his hands into Harry's shirt. "Happy anniversary, baby," he replied, claiming Harry's lips once more.
His bad day had taken a swift turnabout, but then, Harry always managed to surprise him.
