DISCLAIMER: A few of these characters belong to the wonderful Veronica Roth and are her property I am just using them to make a wonderful crossover between The Hunger Games and Divergent. So also thanks to Susanne Collins!

After my Aunt and her boyfriend were killed by the Erudite they have made it clear Divergent's are not welcome. So they began The Games, 2 kids from Candor and Amity and 1 for Dauntless, but for the descendants of the Abnegation it is a bit different. 10 kids. Every year those who were chosen fight to the death and the choosing ceremony is tomorrow where they choose who will represent each faction. Turning 12 this year it will be my first, my Father will protect me though, I hope. Caleb is a slave for the Erudite after my aunt Tris was killed after that he tried to move on and with no more family left, he decided to marry and Erudite woman, Kaira, and they had me and Lance. I do not call Kaira my mother as she is not someone I love nor does she love me, what she does love is my 'famous father' and he knows it but he wants to move on and keep our family going so I must respect it. Lance hates her too, we are twins so he will also have a chance of being chosen, this should make me feel better right? Wrong. It makes me feel worse. Speaking of my brother he just walked into my room.

My room is full of mirrors, a punishment from the Erudite, I honestly don't mind though I am not Abnegation at all, but I am not allowed to change. According to the Erudite changing causes wars, sure they do. Lance just leans on a mirror cracking it with his broad muscular body, what a show off, I walk over to his goofy grin and gently stroke his long blond hair to the side. Then I punch him.

"How can you smile knowing one of us may be chosen to kill or be killed?!?!" I scream in his face and wipe the grin off of it.

"Hey, Freya it will be ok! Just stay positive." He says pushing me onto my bed, his grin is back. Just to be clear my name is Freya, I hate it but who cares it is just a name. "Plus it is tomorrow we have a whole day of relaxation ahead of us!" He says, I love it when he is wrong. I start to smile.

"You do know it is 10 o'clock at night, right?" I whisper casually. His face drops as he sees the time and then he begins to panic, I knew he wasn't that brave. I push him out of my room and lock the door so I can just go to bed. Suddenly the grin is wiped off my face as I slowly realise that I may be put to death tomorrow. I can't win. I won't kill anyone for anything...
