For my beta, Caity, this is a reward for writing near 90 pages for Something Behind The Curtains, ye be warned, thar blow Tiva ahead. Maybe a little OOC, but it is a death, remember that. Inspired by a visit to my grandmother's grave, Christmas 2009.

When Ziva David arrived at the cemetery, she couldn't help but notice the amount of people at the site. Turning a corner, she quickly cut the engine and jumped out of the car she was driving, leaving Tony in the front seat. The announcement of Eli's death in America through the media had caused Ziva to smack Leon Vance across the head and curse at him in the nastiest Arabic words she could. His excuse had been that she was now an agent and had no affiliation to her father or Mossad any longer.

But the next thing she knew, she was on a plane to Israel, Tony in tow.

She was thankful he had come along. The nausea she had felt because of Vance was only made worse by being six months pregnant. A little boy. Her little boy. Well Tony Eli DiNozzo to be exact. Tony had been overjoyed when she whispered the words in his ear in a meeting.

He had already painted their spare room Lime Green and made the cot he had brought. Despite having instructions, it took him a few hours to complete the task, but Ziva did not mind. She was just happy everything had been all right till her father's death.

She ran her fingers over the headstone. Because he had been the Director of Mossad, he had been issued a state funeral. "I am sorry Father." She whispered. The hunting graves of Directors' past just stared at her. All neatly kept, they issued a sense of power even when dead. It had been strange for her to think as a child, she could end up here. But now she realised she never could. She was American now.

She then ran her fingers over the bump of her belly.

"It is a boy, his name is Tony, for his father, Eli for you and DiNozzo because I married Tony. Somehow I think you approve. Is he a good match for me? Yes?

"I have been doing well since going back to America. I missed you, sort of.

"Say hello to Ari and mother and Tali for me.

"Tell them I miss them.

"If I have a daughter I will name her Tali. I will bring her to see you.

Ziva placed the flower she had had in her hand on the grave.

"I am sorry."

She never noticed the hand on her shoulder as she started to cry.
