I sat down at the table. I had rehearsed this days so many times in the past few months. But being here seemed to make my overwhelming nerves worse. So I just about to get up when she walked in. Her smile spread across her face and it grew even more when she looked at me.
"Cameron, you look great."
"you look more then amazing. You haven't changed a bit. Why did you want to meet anyway?"
"Because I missed my best friends..."
"You and Joey broke up didn't you." "Yah...but..."
"Bianca I am engaged."
"You are. To who?"
I loosened my collar. I wasn't to sure how to tell her. I didn't even know if they still talked. I grabbed one of her hands.
"Bianca we are friends, right."
"of course we are."
"I have been dating her since high school. Actually since you and Joey's first date. She was at the theater alone. And so was I. We didn't tell anyone about us for a long time. Actually the first couple dates she threatened my life."
"Cameron who is she?"
"chastity."
Bianca laughed really hard. " no really who are you marrying?"
"Bianca I really am marrying her." I showed her the wedding invitation. Her eyes went wide. She looked as if she were ready to faint.
"Thanks Cameron. I think you just saved me from utter embarrassment.."
"What are you talking about? How would've you made a fool of yourself?"
"nevermind. Cameron, you love Bianca right?...."
"Bianca??? I love Chastity. Were you coming to tell me that you loved me?"
" uhg... This is worse than the splitting virgin comment to Joey."
I stud up and hugged her. " the roles are reversed from high school. I am marrying Chastity." I kissed her on the cheek. " I hope you will come. We both were."
