What a beautiful Saturday morning! Nice day for a walk. I got myself ready and got my dog's leash.
"Mom! Dad! I'm going to take Briar Rose for a walk in the park. C'mon Rosey, we are going to take a walk." My dog loves walks.
It was sunny and warm out. My favorite weather.
When i got to the park a little boy and a little girl ran up to me.
"Hi Ms. your dog is adorable!" the little girl said. It was weird being called Ms. Well, I was only 17 years old.
"Thank you! Do you want to pet her?"
"Sure! Hi I'm Ainsley and this is my little brother Aaron." the girl said. They both pet Briar Rose
"Nice to meet you both. I'm Aurora." I replied.
"Whats her name?" Aaron said pointing to the dog.
"Her mane is Briar Rose, but you can call her Rosey."
"Nice name! How did you pick that name? I never heard it before."Ainsley asked me.
"Well, my name is aurora, like the princess in Sleeping Beauty. When she was with the fairies they called her Briar Rose, so that's where i got it from."
"That's cool" Aaron said. They both played with the dog when a lady came up to me.
"Mommy! This is Aurora and her dog Briar Rose, but you can call her Rosey." said Ainsley to the lady
"Hi Aurora I'm Melinda, I'm their mother. Sorry if they are bothering you."
"No it's fine! I love the company. Please, call me Rora" I shook Melinda's hand.
"Well i am sorry but we have to go, Ainsley has dance class."
"Mommy can't we skip it." Ainsley said
"You skipped last week so today you need to go. You cant miss another part in your dance. Thank you Rora for being so nice to them. "
"No problem. If u ever need a babysitter give me a call." I gave her my number.
"Ok. I'll call you. Kids say bye to Rora."
"Bye Aurora! Bye Rosey!" said Ainsley and Aaron.
I watched them leave and then i started walking more. Then I saw someone. Wow! he looks familiar.
