Chapter 1: Virgil Meets Roman

Virgil was always the loner of the school, and everyone knew it. He only ever had 3 friends in school, Patton, Logan and Thomas.

Thomas was friends with pretty much everyone in school, he was also a famous YouTuber who had over 2,000,000 subscribers!

Logan wasn't as popular, but he was the top student, he was incredibly smart and a total teacher's pet! He got bullied sometimes, but not as much as Virgil.

Patton was the ultimate class clown! He was kind and dead emotional, but he cracked dad jokes constantly, Logan hated it because he doesn't understand jokes. Patton was almost a dad to Virgil, even though he was only a year above him.

Virgil was an emo, he was dark, liked heavy metal and rock music, he was always grumpy and enjoyed making sarcastic and snared remarks. People caught onto this pretty quickly and teased and mocked him every day, it bothered him, but he tried his best to ignore it.

Virgil was walking through the hallways towards his class, '1-A…or wait, was it 2-A? Oh god, I'm gonna be so late if I don't check! Where'd I put my damn timetable!? Oh god. Oh god. Oh- 'He was caught up in his thoughts until he hit something, or someone, and heard loads of gasps coming from all sides, Virgil fell backwards onto the floor,

"Geez dude, watch where your go- "He looked up to see a handsome man, who he recognised easily as Roman Prince, holding his hand out to help Virgil up,

"Oh gosh, I'm so sorry, I should've been looking where I was going!" He said quickly, "Are you OK?"

"Y…yeah, I'm fine" He stood up without taking Roman's hand, "Sorry, I should've been concentrating" He mumbled.

"No, no, it's OK, just glad nothing bad happened!" he chuckled "Oh, by the way, do you know if Mr. Gray's classroom is 1A or 2A? I sorta lost my timetable!"

"Oh, I'm in his classroom as well, let me check," He searched for his timetable and found it in his pocket "It's 1A, just down there, we'd better hurry before we're- "

The bell rang.

"Oh shi- "They said in unison as they dashed down the hallway into their classroom.
