As they went down the long corridor, Captain Ryan stopped them when they reached the door; seeing no handle or lock he singled Smithy who was up in the observation room to try and find a switch to open the door. A few moments later Ryan received a short burst and the door opened unleashing a wave of water chest height which knocked him, Abby and the Professor back before they were able to regain their balance.
Looking into the room Abby reeled in shock before crying out "Oh my god Nick, theres someone in there", pointing towards the cuffed hands and part of the arms that were not in the anomaly. Once Ryan and his men had secured the area, Nick and Abby rushed over to where the arms were recoiling slightly at the number of puncture marks, they were purple and swollen and looked really painful, "Poor bugger, he's got a pulse its faint though, lets get him off to the hospital". As they pulled him out from the anomaly Abby gasped "Stephen!".
