Saturday- Nine A.M. - Titans Tower
Pizza boxes littered the floor of Titans Tower. Robin sat at the kitchen table reading the newspaper while Cyborg and Beast Boy fought over the Sports section.
"Why you, give me it"
Beast Boy changed into a bear and shattered the sound barrier with a roar then grabbed one half of the paper.
"Augh, nice bear, no let go!" Cy exclaimed.
Starfire sat at a stool clutching a camera. Ever since Robin bought it for her at the mall it became a ritual to take pictures every Saturday morning. She couldn't resist the opportunity to photograph Cyborg versus an angry bear over the Sports and happily clicked away.
"Morning Raven" Robin said as she entered the kitchen.
"Glorious morning isn't it friend" asked Star.
"Just great" she replied sarcastically. Cyborg had won the fight and triumphantly read his Sports section while Beast Boy grumbled " she's always like that after night watch" as he ate his eggs.
"I heard that" Raven muttered as she grabbed a mug of hot chocolate off the table and went up to the roof to meditate. She sat on the edge of the roof and stared into the rising sun and let the wind fly across her face.
"It can't be real, it made no sense. It was only a dream." Raven tried to focus on her meditation but her dream kept haunting her thoughts eventually she dozed off.
She was floating above water on a peaceful lake surrounded by tall evergreen trees staring at her reflection. She focused her energy on the water and created a small whirlpool that showed her memories from her past on Azurath. Her memory showed her fighting three figures two young men and one girl about her size. She blasted the girl and kicked one of the others aside. The third pursued her down a dark alley. Her father wanted her to become a great criminal just as he was and at first she followed blindly until she had to fight friends. Her heart told her it was wrong but her mind wouldn't believe. She sent a flying kick at him but missed by inches. He grabbed her torso and threw her into a muddy pothole. He bent down beside her and picked her head up. Upon closer look he was tall, muscular and had a handsome face with golden brown short hair. She stared up at him as he held her chin in his grasp.
"Look at yourself Rae do you really like stealing, he shouted in a loud tone, I know this isn't what you want to do, and I am giving you one last chance to change." He dropped her and walked into the shadows. A pair of red eyes shot down into the pool of water startling Raven. She gasped and turned around staring straight into a black hooded figure with glowing red eyes.
Her eyes shot open as she gasped with fright. She turned around to go back downstairs but bumped straight into Beast Boy.
"Oh its you,"
"Is everything okay Raven" he said with his soft voice when he knew something was wrong.
"Yes just great!" she exclaimed with a hurried voice. She proceeded to brush past him into the doorway.
B.B. stood there silently with a troubled expression on his face.
