Sokka didn't know how to act.

He just came back from visiting the Fire Nation, to go see Fire Lord Zuko, and his daughter, Honora, when he heard the news...

Aang died.

He didn't understand it. He was older than Aang! Well, he recalled, if you don't count Aang being stuck in an iceberg for 100 years...He immediately thought of all the things they'd been through...His sister, Katara, and himself finding Aang in that iceberg with Appa, his flying bison, in the Southern Water Tribe. Their homeland. He then remembered when Aang saved his tribe by sacrificing himself to Zuko, who was banished at the time and had the of finding and capturing the Avatar, from harming Gran Gran or anyone else. He shook his head, tears brimming his eyes, while he recalled those memories plus many more. He wondered how Aang died. Hopefully, peaceful. He had Katara to take care of him. Aang built a new establishment, Republic City, where benders and nonbenders could live in harmony together! The next thought jolted him. There would be a new Avatar! A Water Tribe one at that, and Aang would sorta be alive. Maybe the new Avatar would act just like him, but he knew he wouldn't be around to see. He hoped the next Avatar was a good one, and at that, he knew, Aang's spirit would move on...~
