Sneaking through the building I had to kill the Potters son otherwise he would kill me. After the dad was dealt with, I moved to the kids room seeing as my spell told me they were there. When I got there the door was locked, so I whispered "reducto" hoping to hit and kill one of them when I walked in i saw her holding her child and thought i must have failed. i then froze her and went for her child Harry. i screamed "avada kadavra".And everything went black.
3rd person perspective
As voldemort whispered reducto, Mark crawled behind the door and as the door splintered and miraculously only 1 piece hit him and that piece was shaped like a lightning bolt. When Harry was hit however the beam didn't properly hit him and just left thousands of small cuts, so when his parents unfroze they thought harry was hit by the door.
