As Lily Evans got out of her car at Kings Cross station she stared around wondering what she would find at a wizarding school. Would she be stupid or be at the top of the class? Would the kids like her? All of these thought raced around in her head as her dad picked up her truck and set it on a trolley.

"Where's Platform Nine and Three Quarters, Dad?" Lily asked with a puzzeled look on her face.

"They did say it was at Kings Cross Station, didn't they,"Her fater replied.

"I read her letter about a million times, honey. It's here, somewhere."Said her mother firmly.

"I don't care where it is. I just want to go home and look over all my magazines."

"Do you have all your clothes Sirius? Did I wash enough underwear and socks to last you a month,at least? Oh dear, where did Charleigh go?"a pump women said sighing the last bit."Sirius promise me that you won't get into any trouble at Hogwarts like your father did."

It was the last bit that caught Lily's attention.

"Do you know where Platform Nine and Three Quarters is, Ma'am?"Lily asked.

"Why of course dear. You must be a muggle-born first year. Am I correct in thinking that?"

"Yes ma'am."

"All you have to do is walk through the barrier. You might what to say good-bye to you family before you go, only wizards and witches can walk through it."The women then went back to looking for her daughter Charleigh.

"Well, mum, dad, I guess this is good-bye til spring"

They all had tears in there eyes as they watched Lily walk through the barrier, that is everyone except Petunia.
