Chapter 1: October tenth
October 10th a day to remember. The day so many shinobi fell, the day kyubi attacked, the day my son was both birthed and orphaned, the day I finally lost, the day I sealed his fate, a day to remember indeed. I still remember that day like it was yesterday, but in fact it has been twelve years today since that day. The day I Arashi Uzumaki, sealed the kyubi into my own son, Naruto.
(Flashback)
' Please let this be over soon.' I thought every time I heard Ai scream in pain.
Ai was my wife and mother of my child, who was currently causing her so much pain. Ai was like no one I had ever met before, with her beatiful blue eyes and soft features, she was a godess. And in my eyes she was even more beautiful when pregnant with my son.
But tonight was not the best of nights for our little troublemaker to arrive. The kyubi had just arrived in a maddened state and was going berzerk. I, being yondaime, was expected to take care of my village and people, but as a husband and soon-to-be father, I was also expected to stay with my wife when she was in this state.
I waited and waited for what seemed like hours, occasionally hearing a deafening roar or Ai scream in pain, until at last the doctor arrived out to the waiting room holding a bloody towel.
" Yondaime-sama you may go see her now."
And as soon as those words had left his mouth I was in the opperating room with Ai. She held a blue squirming bundle in her arms. She smiled at me tiredly with her beautiful smile.
" Would you like to see your son Arashi?" She asked me.
I walked over and picked up the blue bundle. Inside was an infant, so small and delicate, that it was a wonder to me. My son had a small patch of thick blonde hair, and wide inoccent blue eyes like his mother's.
" What should we call him?" I asked with a grin
" I like the name Naruto, what about you?" She replied
" Perfect!" I exclaimed but then the mood turned serious.
" Ai I have to seal the kyubi in him, no one else would give up their child willingly." I said looking down
Ai stopped smiling. " Arashi please don't leave me to take care of him all on my own, please." Her eyes held a deep sorrow.
Tears welled in my eyes "I-I have to Ai its for the sake of our village, Naruto would grow up a hero and in a safer enviroment, plus he would be strong on an imense scale."
I walked over to her and gave her a long passionate kiss before departing and taking Naruto with me.
" Kuchiose no Jutsu!" I yelled and summoned Gamabunta, the frog boss.
" Boss I need you to take me to kyubi." I said calmly
" Alright, lets go." The frog said
When the sealing finally came I whispered to my son " Protect this village and your mother, become a strong ninja, and don't allow kyubi to controll you." and with that I sealed the demon inside my only child and sacrificed my soul to the death god to do so.
(End Flashback)
I thought when I left the world my wife was still in a stable condition but apparently the birth had been too difficult and she had lost to much blood and had died.
Neither me nor my wife could leave the plane of the living however and so we stayed behind to watch over our son. We were apalled to see him treated so poorley, and proud when he became genin, and Ai giggled silly when she saw that a Hyuga girl had taken a liking to Naruto. I was surprised when I learened of his dream to surpase all previous hokage, and also very proud. I saw that he was growing up to be everything I had hoped for, and I was contented, My wife and I both wish great things for our son, Naruto.
