The Final Stand: Demon Princess
Chapter 1: Twilight
Link, The Hero of Light/ Twilight, was bored at home. He took up ranching again, but he finished up early, he wished he was out on the dusty fields, again. It has been 7 months since he saved Hyrule…and when she left.
Link was referring to the little imp that followed…or rather, ordered him around Hyrule, helping him save his home-land, but the imp did not live in Hyrule, she lived in another kingdom, called the Twilight Realm. Near the end of they're journey; Link found out that the imp named Midna was actually the princess of the Twilight Realm, she left back to her world, but left Zelda and Link, breaking the Twilight Mirror, the only known connection with Twilites and Light Dwellers.
Link sighed contently, he was bored, but the sun felt good on his skin, much better then Snowpeak.
"Maybe I could go for a walk of Epona, look around Hyrule Field to see if there are any dangers." He got his stuff ready and mounted Epona, then left to check on the grassy field of Hyrule.
-Later…-
Epona ran into Hyrule Field, but instantly stopped when she saw red lightning coming from the ground, hitting numerous crows, but the lightning suddenly stopped and the remaining crows circled the spot where the lightning was coming from.
Link dismounted Epona and shot the crows one by one with his bow and arrow. He ran to the fallen crows and saw a grey and red bulge in the grass, he ran up to it and pulled his sword to it, seeing the lightning coming from this spot, the creature could be a threat.
The grey lump began to move, its head rose up, Link saw its face, it looked like a mouse, or a cat and the creature's green eyes looked at him, her red cheeks made a few harmless pink sparks, her body was dirty and it looked like she was in a wicked fight because she had blood coming from her left front paw, and she had a scar, but it looked old and not from a fight moments ago.
He put his sword back in its sheath, the grey creature stood and looked as if it was going to attack, but she fainted instead.
I could just leave her here, pretend I never saw her…but that wound looks pretty bad.
Link bent down and picked her up carefully, making sure not to drop or wake her.
How is it? Is my first try at a Link and Midna fan-fic, I added my own character.
