Soooooo I got bored, and I've had this drabble written for a while, so I decided to post it d: Please enjoy, and keep in mind, this is only the 2nd story/drabble I've posted.
As she stood before the ice cold stone, her heart clenched painfully, silent, evil tears forming on the edges of her eyes. She promised she wouldn't cry. But at they leaked on to her cheeks, light as feathers, she couldn't seem to stop. It was over, all over. He wasn't coming back, and she had to accept the fact. Her silver hair, tinted grey with age, seemed to wave goodbye, little strands dancing with the wind. As her tears said their own silent farewell, she turned azure eyes to the moon, which prominently stood out against the dark sky. It seemed to feel her sadness, and a single moonbeam shined on the spot where his name was etched, permanently marking this as the place of his eternal sleep. 'Endymion....' She whispered softly, closing her eyes as the grief began to overwhelm. She could almost hear him. First he would sigh, then lightly scold her. 'Serenity, you shouldn't be out in the cold this late.... You could catch something! What would our Little One do if both of her parent's were gone?' And with that thought, reminding her again of the loss that was forever engraved in her heart, she let go. She sobbed, falling to her knees and leaning over his grave. "Endy.... Why?.... Why did you have to leave me?" She gasped out, breathless from her sobs. And as the moon watched her, she slowly quit crying, slowly quit grieving, slowly quit living, the cold grasp of death clutching her near.... And with her final breath, they were once again reunited, not even death able to keep them apart. And in the light breeze that followed, rose petals suddenly crossed the scene, and a new grave was suddenly revealed, directly next to Endymion's. And it read 'Serenity'.
'Serenity....'
'Endymion....'
'I love you.'
There ya have it. R&R please!
