A.N: I got the idea for this fic after reading one in which Severus fell in love with Hermione during her 1st year at Hogwarts. I had been thinking for a few days about writing something like this but I was worried about the consequences ( because an adult who dates a teenager is considered as a pedophile regardless of said teenager's eventual consent ) and after reading this fic I was like 'okay, let's do this !' So, here you are, I hope that you'll like this fic even if it's my first songfic and even if it's not beta-ed.

The halls of the school were empty. Strange, one might think, how in spite of all the noisy students running rather than walking through the corridors during the day the castle could seem abandoned at night if not for the countless paintings, the magnificent furniture and the blinding lights. Of course, Severus Snape volunteering to make sure that no one would sneak out of their respective towers might have something to do with the loneliness of the place during these hours. But Severus wasn't volunteering to terrify students, he could do well without it if the students were a little bit more enclined to obey him: he was doing it to see her.
