"Today could have been worse……."
Sakura was always there helping her mother with the flower
Shop and some family just complained that we sold them the wrong flowers but that was usual on a Friday afternoon. Sakura had
her best friend Mikiko she had known her since grade 4 and now they were in high school. Mikiko already had the hottest
guy going out with her and well Sakura felt unimportant to her. However there was a new kid in her class and well he was a shy guy you neverthought of dating but some how Sakura was attracted to him just by his looks but the mysterious look in his eyes. "Good morning Class we have a new student and he just came from England please give a warm welcome to Jessie Taylor."Jessie stood there all red in the face. The class all said in a monotone "welcome" they always said welcome in that tone no matter how cool the new kid was. Jessie had dark chocolate hair and sparkling blue eyes which seem to change colors when he was in a different mood, then the teacher called out "Miss. McKnight please raise your hand, and Jessie please sit behind her." Jessie walked passed me and stopped and we stared at each other and he shook his head and sat behind me, it was extremely puzzling why he shook his head but also energizing to stare in his blue eyes and you could see something about him was about to tell me that everything I thought was exciting was all going to change.
Mikiko and her boyfriend Matt came and sat with me at lunch and they were talking about the new kid. "Did you see him god he dresses like he was born a few centuries ago like eww but he is good looking I must admit that but who would ever date a guy who never talks nor dresses like he wants to be hanging with our popular group" I replied " Mikiko i am not in the popular group either" "I know you aint but you dress like you wanna be in the group and also you now someone in the group" after that Mikiko was going on about how he dresses and all of a sudden Matt and Mikiko said they had to go and see everyone else in the "popular group" to see what they thought of the new kid.I sat there all alone till I decided to go and get my stuff ready for next class, music class which was my favorite class because I get to play my new piece of music that I have been practicing for a while now.I was walking to get my stuff and all of a sudden I saw Jessie sitting all alone with a puzzling look on his face looking at what he had next but couldn't remember were he had to go next.I walked up behind him and asked "Do you need any help Jessie?" he look a little surprised and a little embarrassed and said in a quiet voice " can you please tell me where this class it" and pointed to it and I told him he had music and I offered to walk with him to band. Then I thought to myself "wow he is a little shy but man he is hot"
Music class starts and the music teacher asked Jessie to play something on the piano and well he can play the piano, he played a piece that I never heard of but you could tell that he had talent.After school came and well I had a piano practice for the school tomorrow I had a solo and I wasn't totally confident in myself. So I was practicing like usual and then the police showed up and whispered something to my teacher,Mr.Chestnut, and well Mr.Chestnut asked if I could come out of the room for a second. I got up and that when I knew something was wrong and the cop asked "Are you Sakura McKnight" I stood there and then answered in a small voice and gulped "Yes I am" and then the officer face changed "I am sorry, your mother has been in a terrible accident and while taken to the hospital she died I am sorry" I stood there and fell to the ground crying "Not my mom, not my mom!"
