A/N : I dedicate this Story to a friend of mine who is moving on to new places we may have not known each other for long but for me it feels like we have known each other forever and I wish you all the best. (no need to review this one guys just enjoy it will be real short anyway)

Garrus stood at the docking bay trying to convince himself that this was a dream Shepard couldn't just leave could she? But never the less Shepard was leaving the Alliance, the Normandy, her crew and friends all of it but she was leaving with Liara and for that Garrus couldn't be happier.

He heard the commotion behind him of the Normandy's crew saying goodbye to Shepard she stopped when she saw Garrus and turned to the rest of her crew. "would you guys give us some privacy please?" She asked the crew quickly filtered out of hearing range.

"I can't believe you're leaving" Garrus admitted "I know it'll be difficult but you can't stop change Garrus" Hayley said swinging her bag over her shoulder "you know I support you 100% on this it's just hard things will be different without you Shepard" Garrus said the Commander smiled.

"It will be very different I don't know who will keep you out of trouble" She joked Garrus let out a chuckle even now on what felt like the hardest day of Garrus' life Shepard was still making jokes to lighten the mood.

"I'm more worried for you I mean parenthood? You scared Shepard?" Garrus asked "Liara's not pregnant…not yet anyway" Shepard said her smile making Garrus blush "ah…erm…yes…well" Garrus stammered Hayley hugged him.

"I'm going to miss you old friend" She said "I will miss you to" he said as they broke their embrace Garrus leaned in for a kiss but Shepard stopped him "don't you'll only make this harder for me please…don't" Shepard asked "Ok" Garrus said he then noticed Liara walking their way.

"Hey Hayley all ready to go?" Liara asked Shepard looked at Garrus who gave a reassuring look "Yes lets go" the Commander replied Garrus gave Shepard one final wave. As the ship became a small dot in the distance Garrus wondered to himself if he would ever see her again.
