Alkaid thinks, she is reading too much into it and she blames Haseo and his sweet Silabus for that because probably - probably, she is the only one who notices the sudden but amusing change that happens between her two friends.
The Terror of Death - whether if Haseo realizes it or not - is searching for his best friend whenever Silabus isn't around with him. Haseo has that longing and shy expression on his face when Alkaid asks of why he's so keen to know where or what the green blade brandier is doing. When Haseo refuses to tell her the reason behind his strange behavior, she merely shrugs with a knowing grin slips on her lips.
Haseo might call it as curiosity, but his fingers usually find its way to Silabus' lips, brushing the smooth skin whilst his fingers trace affectionately from the corner of Silabus' lips and slowly to his cheeks. The human just lets out a small gasp before he turns his head to other direction with a pale blush adorns his face. And Haseo has to chuckle at Silabus' adorable (as Haseo prefers to call it) reaction.
Alkaid thinks the emperor is in denial by using Atoli as a distraction to mask what he feels about Silabus. On the other hand, maybe she is just reading too much into it. Again.
Silabus - whether he wants to admit it or not - will pout each time Haseo talks about Atoli even though Alkaid knows Haseo only speaks about the female cleric to see what kind of response he will get from Silabus. Besides, Haseo often informs of how he lov-...err, likes Silabus' pout and his blush when the shade of rosy pink creeps onto the blade brandier's face and ears to her (although Alkaid sturdily tells Haseo that she's not interested to hear about it).
Silabus might call it as being friend, but he always tries to reach out to Haseo as if he wants to engulf his friend in a hug instead of giving Haseo a pat on a shoulder or a squeeze to Haseo's upper arm. However, Silabus quickly throws the thought away into the back of his head because to him - Haseo has Atoli and Atoli is Haseo's one. What a load of bullshit.
Alkaid thinks Silabus needs to suck it up like a real man and just go with the flow. On the other hand, maybe she is just reading too much into it. Again.
The sexual tension between those two is just too thick to be ignored. So whether she's reading too much into it or Haseo and Silabus are really in denial. Alkaid wonders which one is the correct one.
