AN: I'm so sorry please don't kill me for this

Disclaimer: I don't own supernatural or the characters :/

It was supposed to be simple. Hasn't it always been like that? Yet this time it wasn't. Something went wrong. Whether it be from killing the wrong person or monster, Sam and Dean Winchester were now at the point where death was welcomed. The scene was covered in blood. The floors seemed to be painted red and so were the clothes of the two men. Dean was struggling to stay standing while Sam finally fell to the floor. A curse left Dean's mouth as he winced from the wounds scattered across his chest.

"Easy tiger." Dean whispered as he fell to the floor next to Sam.

Purple was beginning to cloud Sam's mouth as he tried to smile. "Oh... Shut... Up."

Dean chuckled but that soon turn to a groan as he fell onto his back. "Damnit Cas... Where the hell are you..."

Sam licked his lips and turned his head to look at Dean. "Dean... We're going to-"

"No... No we aren't. Don't say that Sammy. Don't you dare say that to me." Dean pleaded as he looked at him.

Sam raised his bloodied hand, which had been clutching his side, over to rest between their heads. "Dean, you know there is nothing... I wouldn't do for you... But please... Just don't lie to me... Not now."

Dean refused to show any sign of weakness, after all his constant thought was to look brave for his baby brother. "Sammy..."

Sam waited patiently as Dean set his jaw, but darkness was beginning to cloud his vision. The room was beginning to spin and light was beginning to shine much too brightly in Sam's vision. Yet the last thing he could hear from his older brother was,

"I'm proud of us. Now shut your eyes Sammy..."

Dean watched as Sam's eyes shut for the last time, and he let go of his guard. Rolling his body onto his back, he stared at the ceiling and took his last shuddering breath. Now the only one left in the room was Castiel. He stared at the two bodies laid next to each other and for the first time he felt wetness slide down his cheeks as he spoke to all the angels.

"The Winchesters.. Are no more."
