Rain, rain, go away. Come again another day.
He smiled a sick, twisted smile. Such innocent little things they were, so cute and untouchable by the hands of darkness. But, yet, they were so foolish and untaught. Didn't they know what the rain brought? What evil, that lurked in it?
What it did to certain people?
The Curse, as those called it. Was a curse given to those unfortunate enough to be living when the town had been under slavery of the Rain God. When the rain came, they were possessed. Forever a servant to the god, forever a killer…
He gave a laugh, "Rain, rain go away come again another day." He mimicked the children's song. Such a pity that they wouldn't be living too much longer. "Poor kids, they'll never know what will happen to them…" He muttered, his aqua eyes glowing. There was laughter and he flinched, he hated becoming this, but he had gotten used to it. The rain barely stopped here.
Glowing aqua eyes blazed red and he let out growling and snarling sounds. "Those children…" He rasped, "So hungry…so…" He clutched his head as a searing pain shot through his body.
Little Johnny wants to play.
He walked out onto his porch and called out to the kids, "Such a terrible day to be playing outside! Why don't you come inside? I have toys for you to play with." Smirking, he ran a hand through his silver hair as the children came running up, their expressions that of excitement and slight nervousness. "Come in, come in," He coaxed. The Rain God had no pity for such weak creatures. If you had been one of the few who had been poisoned by the god's rain, you hated them too.
He watched with sick satisfaction as the kids laughed and giggled down the hall way. Such a pity. Laughing to himself he followed, licking his lips along the way. Walking into the room he smiled at them, "Why don't you sing me that rhyme again?" He questioned, shutting the door behind him.
Rain, rain, go away. Come again another day.
