A/N: It's really short. Please read my drabble Slytherin first. They're related. This one is pretty darn sad if you read Slytherin and are able to connect the Katie in this story to the characters sister Katie in that one. Yup, they're they same person. And Emma is the Slytherin.
It kind of felt like I was floating. My senses dulled, and I felt warm. I smiled softly, because this is the happiest I've ever been in years. Now, that I think about it, I really am a true Hufflepuff. I'm not sure why I'm thinking about this now, but I am. I'm loayl, even when I'm not happy with them. For some reason, the world feels like it's in slow motion. This is kind of cool, actually. I don't know why I'm happy right now. I shouldn't be. All around me, people are dying. Right now. Lights flash all around me.
In my last moments I whisper, "I'm sorry, Emma."
A green light flashes in front of me and I start falling. The last word I hear is,
"KATIE!"
