A/N: Written last year. I don't even remember what this is about! –sighs-
When
You Say Nothing At All by Allison Krause
Cronus lay down on the ground. Theresa had just tripped him. Jay lay on the ground. His ziphos was to the size of him. He was unconscious. Archie took his chance and ran. He picked up Jay's ziphos and stabbed the weapon into Cronus's small, black, wrinkly, shriveled heart. He was gone. Dead. The evil god of time was dead.
The seven teenagers had just defeated Cronus. The end. No more fighting. No more violence. They could all be safe. They would no longer have this barrier pushing them away from what they wanted to do. They were free, like birds. They could spread their wings and fly. Build their nests and settle down.
Atlanta ran over from where she was standing and hugged Archie. He swung her around in circles. He was tired but he still had his strength. He placed her back on the ground and they stared into each others eyes. They both started to lean in.
It's
amazing how you can speak right to my heart
Without
saying a word you can light up the dark
Try
as I may I could never explain
What
I hear when you don't say a thing
--
Archie
didn't even have to say anything. She knew what he meant. They were
the best of friends, they had a secret language that only the two of
them could understand. They could tell by the mood in each other's
eyes or the actions of one another and tell what they were saying.
Atlanta stared into Archie's eyes and knew what he
meant.
The
smile on your face lets me know that you need me
There's
a truth in your eyes sayin' you'll never leave me
The
touch of your hand says you'll catch me if ever I fall
You
say it best when you say nothing at
all
Today when she looked in his eyes he was happy to have her. He needed her. He needed her to love and to help or be helped by. By looking in his eyes today, she knew that he would never hurt her, he needed her to live. He would never leave her. When he felt him lifting her into the air she knew he would never let go and drop her to the ground. He would catch her. He never even said a word.
All
day long I can hear people talking out loud
But
when you hold me near, you drown out the crowd
Old
Mr. Webster could never define
What's
being said between your heart and
mine
All day at school and everywhere they went she could hear people. But when she was with Archie it seemed like they were the only ones in the world. Alone. Nobody knew the bond that they had. Everybody just thought it was a close friendship or an oblivious love.
The
smile on your face lets me know that you need me
There's
a truth in your eyes sayin' you'll never leave me
The
touch of your hand says you'll catch me if ever I fall
You
say it best when you say nothing at allThe
smile on your face lets me know that you need me
There's
a truth in your eyes sayin' you'll never leave me
The
touch of your hand says you'll catch me if ever I fall
You
say it best when you say nothing at
all
He didn't have to say those three words that she longed to hear, for her to know what he meant. They both leaned in closer and closer until their lips met. It was only a couple seconds when Archie parted. They both starred into each other's eyes, still oblivious to the others watching them. They stayed silent a moment then both leaned in again and kissed again. This kiss lasted longer.
A/N: O.O Well tell me what you thought.
