Prompt: Mad
"Are you mad?!"
Artemis looked incredulously at her mentor, eyes wide and— well shocked would be an understatement. Surely her mentor wasn't serious about this?
Oliver raised an eyebrow at her protege. His mask was off, being inside the safety of his home, and stared at the younger archer, genuinely confused. He put a hand on Artemis's shoulder.
"Artemis," said blonde groaned; oh God he was using his 'father' voice, "you were the one who insisted your mom take a cruise trip—"
Artemis cut the older man off, "yes but that didn't mean I'd move in here!"
"What? You didn't think I'd let you stay alone at your house for a whole week, did you?" Ollie asked, still confused as to why Artemis was so against the idea.
The younger blonde opened her mouth to retort but was distracted with the loud click of a door opening. Both heads turned to look at the sudden noise.
Artemis suppressed a groan. Slightly from irritation but mostly because— ugh hot damn.
Roy stepped out of the bathroom door, just a few feet away from were they were standing, clad in only a blood-red towel at his waist. His hair was plastered to his face, still a bit wet and dripping. His skin shone with the thin sheen of water and small beads of water slid down his chiseled torso. The ginger looked up, a questioning look plastered on his face.
"What's she doing here?" he asked. He raked his hair back and the towel slid a little bit lower as he took another step.
Artemis cursed inwardly at her hormones and tried not to let her squirming stomach show in her facial expression.
"Meet your new temporary house mate. Now, both of you play nice." she heard Ollie say through her daze.
This was gonna be the longest week ever.
