Dwelling on the Past
Hermione had always wondered why people dwell on the past until she had an event that made her want to dwell in the past forever.
Hermione was rushed to St Mungo's on the one day she couldn't contact her husband. It was the most important day of their life since their wedding yet she still couldn't reach him. She had tried to persuade him to go on paternity leave to make sure that this situation couldn't happen. She knew she should have gotten him a mobile phone. She yelled out his name. Then the constant yelling from outside the door started.
"Let me in! I want to see the birth of my child! Let me in!" Then she heard a lot of muffling but one voice pulled through.
"I just want to see the birth of my beautiful daughter. Please let me see it happen."
What happened next? She yelled at the top of my lungs.
"RON YOU IDIOT! GET YOU ARSE IN HERE BEFORE I HEX YOUR BALLS OFF!" He
quickly stumbled through the doors and jumped to her side.
"I'm so sorry I wasn't here earlier. I love you and..."
"Mrs Weasley, you need to push!"
"DO YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT HURTS MORE NOW?"
"No thanks, honey. Just push!" The sound of crying made Hermione relaxed when she heard the screaming over in the far corner of the room.
"Congratulations on you little girl! Any suggestions for a name?"
"Rose." Ron said butting in.
"What? But I thought that we were gonna name her Charlotte. Why the sudden change?" she put on her 'Tell-me-now' face
"A rose by any name would smell just as sweet"
"You've been reading Shakespeare! Have I told you how much I love you?"
"Yes you have." Then he leaned towards her face,
"Especially when we were making Rose!" Then he caught her lips like there was no tomorrow. From then on, she wanted to dwell on the fact that her husband read, forever.
