Draco opened the door and stepped into the pouring rain. Draco enjoyed the hunt; a small-frightened child was his favorite, though he seldom got what he wanted. Draco was no longer a Malfoy, he despised the name in fact. So many years of being forced into something he didn't want, someone he wasn't. Snape took him and they fled, after just months of Snape's insane ramblings Draco ran away to find his mother. Little did he know she had been murdered, by who else but Voldemort. The shivering gust of wind hitting his face roughly brought him out of his memory.

He stepped into the ditch ready to prowl for tonight's dinner, if you could call it that. He was barely approaching the bridge when from behind him came a slight crunch. Draco wheeled around faster than his attacker could follow, before the stranger could utter one word, Draco was behind him breathing heavily upon his neck. The stranger turned around and stared intently into the doomed boys eyes. Draco stepped back almost stumbling. "Y…you" Dracos eyes filled with fright. Surprised to see me?" Harry lunged forward grasping Draco neck. You fucking fool!" Harry screamed spit shooting from his mouth. Draco eyes turned from silky silver to a deadly red. Draco yelled sending Harry flying backwards in to the ground. Draco turned and fled into the night.

Harry jumped up abruptly. I have to follow him, he thought as he ran through the ditch. Finally Harry approached the underside of a bridge, the night was cool and damp. A frightened cry came form the floor, Dracos cloak was shivering and crying. No it was someone under the cloak, Draco would never cry. Harry lifted up the cloak pointing his wand aggressively. A small girl lay curled up in a ball, Harry knelt to help her. He barely noticed the bite mark on her neck, Harry couldn't save her. She was a vampire, a threat to society. He pointed his wand and her and muttered a killing curse. She let out one small final cry before fading into darkness.

"Well the boy can kill after all," Draco stepped out of the shadows applauding. "How dare you," Harry was still knelt on the floor, cradling the girls body. "How could you use an innocent child for bait?" Draco laughed with cruelty. "I can hear it in your voice." Draco was enjoying this now, "The regret." He said noticing Harry's questioning look. "I don't regret it" Harry said now standing, "I only wish there was another way." "Exactly." Draco said snarling. "That's regret." He said raising his voice slightly. "What are you doing here?" Draco asked to cut the silence. "I'm here to kill you," Harry said coming closer to Draco. Draco let out a small chuckle. "Years later potter, and you still amuse me." Harry pulled back his wand "Cru." With in a second Draco had disappeared. "Draco!" Harry yelled, "Come out and face me you coward!" With all of Harry's attempts, there was no answer. Harry was afraid; this feeling was new to him. He hadn't felt it in years. Afraid for the first time he was alone.
