Where do young elves go when they're bad?
Aragorn un-mounted his horse and hugged his friend.
"Legolas," he breathed heavily.
"How was your trip, my friend?" Legolas asked.
"Long." was the response.
"Please, come in." Legolas said warmly.
"How is Gimly?" Aragorn asked.
"Stubborn as a mule."
"And your son?"
"Just like him. Rowdy as I'll get out." Legolas sighed. "Thanks for coming Aragorn."
"It's no trouble to me, though it might be to Arwen." Aragorn smiled.
A young small boy ran through the halls like a gentle breeze. Quickly he faded away and soon Legolas and Aragorn heard the sound of heavy footsteps coming from the direction the boy came from.
"I'll get you, you little... oh, Legolas." Gimli stopped short, "Aragorn, what brings you here?"
"I've come to aid you." Aragorn laughed.
"Good!" Gimly said roughly. "You can start with that little..." Gimli paused a moment before stressing "Angelic looking creature." he said slowly gritting his teethe. "Also known as Elf Boy's son."
"What has he done this time?" Legolas sighed.
"Done! Why he has put sugar in my beer! That's what he has done!" Gimly shouted taking a step in the boy's direction.
The two friends watched as the young boy ran in circles making the dwarf chase him.
"Legolas, something must be done."
"He's only eighteen, Aragorn. He's but a baby among us." there was a pause.
"I think it's time."Aragorn sighed.
"No." Legolas went pale.
"Yes."
"I won't let him go... there." Legolas squeaked.
"He must." Aragorn said putting a hand on Legolas's shoulder. "You must call, him."
Legolas looked at his son and Gimli running around in circles.
His son seemed to have glitter dropping off him every step he took, something only un-mature elves did.
"It can't be time yet." Legolas tried.
"It is." Aragorn said. "It did you wonders when you were young. You told me so."
"But," Legolas said, "it's not for him. Please, no."
"Legolas, Call him."
Legolas sighed in defeat and nodded.
Gimli and Legolas's son were summoned to the court room. Gimli was grinning like an idiot and Legolas's son was walking behind the dwarf silently untying the dwarf's belt.
As they entered the court room the two saw Legolas and Aragorn standing in the middle of the room. Legolas looked distraught,
"About time you made this little... Angel pay for the things he's done!" Gimly said.
"Please," Legolas begged. "Not right now. Son, there's someone I want you to meet. Come with me."
Legolas and his son walked off to a side room and Gimli looked up at Aragorn.
"Where are they going?"
"Legolas is sending his boy away." Aragorn answered.
"Where?"
"Where all young elves are sent when they are young and unwise."
"Where is that?"
The two friends heard a scream and saw Legolas's son run out of the room towards the door.
"Oh no you don't!" another voice said and a big man came running out after the boy. The man was obviously faster than the young elf. "You're coming with me."
"Dad I don't wanna leave! I promise I'll be good!"
They saw a flash of red and white and the boy and man were gone. Legolas stood in a pile of glitter with a sad expression.
"Don't worry Legolas." Aragorn said. "He'll be alright. The man's been doing this forever. He'll take good care of the boy."
Gimli was in shock then began to laugh.
"Do all young elves get sent to Santa Clause?" he was laughing hard until of course his belt came fully undone. Gimli looked up with a red face. "What's the quickest way to the north pole?"
"Why?"
"I'm gonna kill that little...!"
