She was kissed by fire, a wildling woman, born free,
A spearwife proud and wild, that was all she'd ever be
But her life was soon to change in a way she'd never know
Something new was coming
You know nothing, Jon Snow.

He was a great lord's bastard, not fit to bear his name,
So when his brother went to war, he chose a different game.
He made his vows and donned the black, a solemn little crow,
But something new was coming
You know nothing, Jon Snow.

They first met and his task was to kill her as he should,
But when he saw the woman, he knew he never could,
He stayed his sword and let her live and then he let her go,
And thought that was the end
You know nothing, Jon Snow.

He must needs play the traitor said his mentor and his friend,
And the crow must follow orders until the bitter end,
He was captured, leader killed, she vouched for him, and oh!
It all now set in motion,
You know nothing, Jon Snow

Eventually, he broke his vows, and took her as his own,
And thoughts of love and happiness soon clouded what he'd known.
She taught him how to smile again, he didn't want to go,
She led him by the hand now,
You know nothing, Jon Snow.

And so they had their happiness, her fire met his ice,
She warmed his heart and loved him, sweet reward, an awful price.
She made a man where there'd been a boy, a bitter triumph though,
He knew he must return soon,
You know nothing, Jon Snow.

And then the time appeared, to his brothers he returned,
To wear his black and share with them, all that he had learned,
But his heart yearned for his wildling, now once again a foe,
She'd led him by the hand,
You know nothing, Jon Snow.

And then they all attacked and he knew he must defend,
An arrow through her chest was what brought it to an end,
He held her in his arms as she died and even so,
The last words that she told him,
You know nothing, Jon Snow.

And now he was a ruler, Lord Commander of the Wall,
He'd stopped them from attacking, he hadn't let it fall.
But could he really rule here? Was he really fit?

He wished she was here now,
I know nothing, Ygritte.
