Chapter 1
The Celebration Fight
"Hey, Natsu!" Lucy yelled across the guild. It was 12:00 at noon. "You hear the news? Today is the guild's 100th year anniversary!" Natsu's eyes suddenly gleamed. "Really?"
"Yeah, Natsu," Gray said. "But only a fire-brain like you wouldn't know something as important as that." Natsu growled and smashed his head against Gray's.
"Those are some big words coming from an iceberg like you, Gray."
"Oh yeah? What are you going to do about it, you fire-headed punk?"
Suddenly the both got chopped down onto the floor by another wizard. Erza stood angrily.
"You going to have to learn to get a long! Remember, we are a team," she said.
"I'll remember," Natsu muttered as he got up onto his feet. "Anyway, since this is our 100th anniversary, I was thinking we do a pair fight!" Erza nodded her head. "That sounds like fun!"
"I agree," Gray said.
"Yeah, it should be fun," Lucy said. "But what are the teams?"
"Well," Erza said. "Let's make things interesting with unusual teams. How about me and Natsu VS Lucy and Gray?"
Gray replied. "Good, let's go!"
IN THE MIDDLE OF TOWN
As soon as word got out Gray and Lucy were fighting Natsu and Gray, the town set up a huge festival. "OK," the announcer said. There was a large square area surrounded by people. On one half there were Gray and Lucy, the other half Natsu and Erza. "Let's start this fight in 5, 4, 3, 2 and FIGHT!
Gray raised his hands and yelled "Ice make canon!" A large ice canon formed in his hand and he aimed and fire at Natsu. A few second before impact, Natsu yelled "Fire dragon iron fist!" His fist grew on fire and he swung it at the ice missile, making it explode in mid-air. Natsu leaped forward and in mid-air, just a few metres away from Gray, he yelled "Fire dragon ROAR!" The roar was huge and it completely demolished where Gray stood. As soon as the fire faded away, though, Gray had vanished. A few seconds later Gray landed with iced fist attack on Natsu's back smashing him onto the ground.
Lucy stared at her opponent: Erza. She raised her water key and nervously yelled: "Open, Gate of the Water Bearer, Aquarias!" Aquarias glowed and landed in front of Lucy and growled. "Oh hell, you again." She then looked down and picked up Gray's pants and shirt. "I got to say, Lucy, you never struck me as the popular type."
Lucy growled. "That was Gray."
"Oh," Aquarius said. "What do you want, scum?"
"You see Erza, over there?" Lucy said. She nodded. "Um."
LUCY'S POV
I hate to do this to you, Erza, but I have to.
Viewer's POV
"She said that Scorpio was ugly."
Aquarius growled. "That ugly twit." She turned and raised a tsunami out thin air and aimed it down on Erza. Before it hit her she yelled: "Requip! Heaven's Wheel!" She glowed and then appeared in her armour. Then she flew far above the tsunami and landed right down on top of Aquarius, squashing her and making her retreat instantly. Lucy raised her arms to cover her face just as Erza leaned in with a fist, only to remain untouched. In front of her stood Loki. "I activated my own key to save you," He said to Lucy. She smiled. "Thanks. Now, let's do this!"
(MEANWHILE)
Jellal stood on the top a nearby building watching the fight. Now was finally time for him to get his revenge for destroying his dreams and glories. He already had 7 Dark Guilds stationed all around the city. He planned to personally fight those 4 head-on while the dark guilds destroyed the city. He raised a Speaker-Com to his mouth and spoke one word that would start an overpowering war like none other. "Attack."
