One day, Uncle Jonas was walking down the street. He saw a small hole in the wall, covered by a curtain saying "Explicit material. Please do not look if you find this offensive, or are not of age." He said to himself, "Well, I find explicit material offensive, but I shall look anyway." He peeped in, and saw an image of a couple making love.

"Horrible!" he shouted. "The masses must be protected!"

So he took a rock, and blocked up the hole so no one could ever look again.

The next day, he was walking down the same street. There was a new hole, and the curtain read, "Violent material. Please do not look if you find this offensive, or are not of age." He said to himself, "Violence is terrible, and should not exist!" But he pulled aside the curtain anyway, and saw an image of two men fighting a bloody battle.

"Disgusting!" he shouted. "The masses must be protected!"

So he took a rock, and blocked up the hole so no one could ever look again.

On the third day, with the third hole, the curtain read, "Alternate lifestyle. Please do not look if you find this offensive." He pulled aside the curtain, and saw an image of two men sharing a chaste kiss.

"Against the will of nature!" he shouted. "The masses must be protected"

So he took a rock, and blocked up the hole so no one could ever look again.

On the fourth day, with the fourth hole, the curtain read, "Racial integration. Please do not look if you find this offensive." He pulled aside the curtain, and saw an image of a Caucasian man and an African American woman holding hands.

"Against all moral principles!" he shouted. "The masses must be protected"

So he took a rock, and blocked up the hole so no one could ever look again.

On the fifth day, with the fifth hole, the curtain read, "Religious tolerance. Please do not look if you find this offensive." He pulled aside the curtain, and saw an image of a rabbi, a priest, and a minister breaking bread together.

"Blasphemy!" he shouted. "The masses must be protected"

So he took a rock, and blocked up the hole so no one could ever look again.

On the sixth day, the whole wall was covered with a curtain, nailed down around the edges. The words read, "It's a slippery slope, folks. Welcome to FanFiction.net."

Author's note: Yeah, you get what I'm saying, folks. The censorship of this site CANNOT be accepted, even by those of you who do not like or read NC17 material. If you read something you dislike, after you've been duly warned as to its contents, you do not deserve the right to take it away from everyone else. Censorship is a very scary thing. And those of us who live in nations where we can often say what we want, do not often realize how quickly censorship can grow and spread. Please help to change this decision by contacting support@fanfiction.net, xing@fanfiction.net, and signing the petition at http://www.petitiononline.com/KEEPNC17 .
