Has anyone ever insulted you before? Just completely drug your honor through the mud?
Then they won't fight you because you're a girl and you end up going into war just to restore your honor and get your fight!?
Well that's what happened to me…Yeah…This is my story.
But let's begin where this whole mess started…
One week ago…
I stretched my arms over my head, smiling as I walked home. My zanpaktou was on my side casually swaying on my hips with each step and my purple hair clung to maintain its messy bun shape. I was so excited to get back home considering the great news I had for my sister Katsume. Katsume isn't allowed to be a soul reaper because her retsu is too weak to control a zanpaktou. So, she will stay at home and take care around the house while I go to the school to become a Soul Reaper just like my mother and my father.
My parents left me in my sister's care after the accident, when they had to leave the Soul Society. Nearly 14 years ago, my parents were caught up in some big scandal in the Soul Society and had to run away and hide. To protect me they left me behind too, knowing I wouldn't be held responsible for their mistakes. I miss them very much and as I have begun growing up I think of them more and more. I sighed and looked up at the blue sky, watching a few clouds drift by as I walk the last few yards to my door.
"Onee-sama! I'm home!" I called as I placed my zanpaktou by the door. Suddenly I felt something launch towards me and knock me onto my rear, my attacker nuzzling my chest. "Aww! Sis welcome home! I miss your boob pillows during the day!" Katsume smiled. Jumping up she ran over to the small fire place in our hut we call a home and brought me a cup of tea. "Its jasmine your favorite! It also brings lots of good luck! Which is what I hope to hear from you?" Katsume squeaked hopefully. I smiled warmly and took the tea taking a small sip. "Is learning my zanpaktou's name good enough news for you?" I said smiling raising an eyebrow.
"HAI!" Kat screamed and hugged me. I chuckled and sipped my tea again. "Have you told Momo and Granny yet?!" Katsume squealed overjoyed with my quick progress with school. "Our neighbors? I don't see why it's any of their concern. I mean I suppose they are our closest friends…Hm…" I thought to myself as I enjoyed my hot drink. "How bout because you got a major crush on Granny's grandson Toshiro~." Kat purred as she watched my face go from its normal color to a deep red. I choked on my tea and slammed the cup down. "I-I do not! Jeez, I bet it was you that was spreading those rumors around the school too! Parent teacher conference my butt! That's bull poopy!" Tari growled at her sister glaring. "Really bull poopy? You REALLY need to lighten up sis and relax sometimes. You're much too strict and uptight. Ya know what! Since you're too shy and uptight to tell Hitsu-chan how ya feel…I'll take responsibilities as your big sister and do it for you!" Kat chuckled gleefully as she flash stepped off and out the door without missing another beat. "W-What!?" I screamed as I jumped from my seat on the floor and raced out the door, grabbing my zanpaktou as I ran heading towards the slightly larger hut directly across the river from us.
The home of my two childhood friends Momo Hinamori, a small shy girl with long black hair that was always up in a bun. She was also the lieutenant of Squad 5 which use to be under the control of Captain Azien before he betrayed the Seritei. Also living there with his grandmother, known to most throughout the Rukon District as Granny, was Toshiro Hitsugaya. A quiet serious boy with snowy white hair and the dreamiest blue eyes you have ever see-ACK! I shook my head from my day dream and realized all too late I had run to far and fast. Only now to sit soaked in the 2 foot deep river that separated our homes. "Ughhh…I'm soaked all the way through!" I groaned as a looked down at myself and then around noticing that Katsume was now where to be seen. "Great...She'll be gone for another week…" I sighed sadly to myself. Suddenly I heard a soft chuckle. "Where's the hollow attack sweetie?" I looked up to see who was speaking and saw granny standing on her side of the river bank smiling down at me.
