Another story from me to you!

-Prologue-

Nobles.

Commoners.

Rebels.

Konoha, being one of the Land of Fire's most successful kingdoms, was home to many people. But although it's inhabitants were many, they were usually stereotyped into one of the three groups formally mentioned.

The nobles were the most respected families in the kingdom. They lived in the giant estate on the edge of the forest, and were hardly ever seen out of it. There weren't that many of them, but enough.

The commoners were what one would call the "normal" people. They were the people you would normally encounter in your daily life, and lived in normal houses near the business center. This was the group most people belonged to.

Not much was known on the rebels, except that they were members of either of the formally mentioned groups who broke away from it for some reason or another. There weren't that many of them, but enough to cause some serious damage if they wanted to. They lived someplace in the forest.

It was no secret that the rebels didn't like the nobles, and the nobles didn't like the rebels. If anything, they downright despised each other. The nobles thought that the rebels were dirty and unworthy outcasts, while the rebels thought that the nobles were stuck up busybodies that should keep their noses out of other people's business. The origin of the hatred? No one's sure, but it seems to have manifested after the deaths of a rebel and a noble a few years back. But the details were so sketchy, it might have been a myth.

So due to this, it was an unwritten law that the nobles and the rebels were to have absolutely nothing to do with each other. No contact, no relationship, nothing. You wouldn't even find a noble and a rebel within eye distance of each other. To each group the other meant nothing. Nothing but resentment.

And as the years passed, the citizens of Konoha grew accustomed to the illogically unreasonable dispute between the two groups. But the slight nagging feeling that something big and not necessarily safe was going to happen was always there.

And finally, seventeen years later, the little nagging proved to be right.

And Konoha was thrown upside down.
