AN: This is a deleted scene on before the producers decided that Vector should show Gru his Piranha Gun instead.
"Hey, look at this." Vector produced a bizarre-looking gun from behind his back, "BUBBLE GUN! OH YEAH!"
He turned his head to face Gru, only to discover that he had scooted all the way down to the farthest end of the couch. He ran to him, "It encases any object I fire it at in an indestructible bubble, "he turned around, "here watch." He fired it at a nearby potted plant; a blue beam shot out of the end of the gun and enveloped the plant in a large, clear sphere.
"Cool, huh?" Vector said smugly as he turned around. Gru didn't look up from his plans; "It really is indestructible, look." He began climbing on top the bubble; after much difficulty, he began jumping on top of the bubble. "It's as durable as steel, but it's just like a bu-AHHH! " Vector yelped as he fell through the bubble.
Gru peered over his plans; the younger man was stuck in the bubble from the neck down, Vector looked at him pleadingly. He stared at him for a few seconds before returning his gaze back to his plans. "Mr. Gru, Mr. Perkins is ready to see you." He stood up and walked out of the room.
Vector strained to get out of the bubble, "Hey, hey you. Come back! Hey!" He looked around, "Anyone there? Hello?" He looked towards the secretary's desk, there was a little note taped to the front of the desk that read, "Back in 10 minutes". "This is just great."
He wriggled some more, the bubble began rolling towards the basement stairs. "Oh poop."
