Jack Carter was just about to watch the man he loves die.
He didn't know if he'd come out of that, that thing. Leo was fried when he went in, what would happen to Nathan.
"Wait," he said grabbing Nathan's sleeve pulling him to a stop.
"Not now Carter," Stark said, moving towards the device, trying to save the day again.
"Just one thing," Jack said, holding on to the others arm as the timer started counting down.
"What?" he asked with a huff, waiting. Jack leaned forward and pressed his lips against Nathan's, winding his hand around the others neck holding him there. Trying to express all of these feelings at once.
"I love you," Jack said, pulling away, as Nathan stared at him in shock, "Now go save the world." He held back his tears. Nathan just nodded unsure of what to say.
"Just, just take care of her," he said stepping into the machine, he watched Jack's eyes tear slightly, "See you around."
Jack closed his eyes waiting, not wanting to watch this. A tear dripped out the corner of his eye. Then they all fell. He felt Fargo slip his arms around him as he collapsed to the ground. He cried harder as Fargo held him. It was the end.
A/n. It was short and wrote right after I Do Over.
