Author's Notes: What has got into me!!! Why am I writing a poem in the middle of the night!!! This is bound to suck. Okay. I am proud to present to you – the full version of Finale, unabridged, unchanged, unrevised!!! Da-da-da-daaaa!!!

*cough cough* Clearly, I must be going nuts. Evidently.

Disclaimer: Detective Conan (a.k.a. Case Closed) is in no way, mine. I merely use the characters as marionnettes and force them to my will.

Little Boy: What do you use to force them, miss evil witch?

Me: Hmm... a couple of pitchforks, guns, and maybe a sword. Of course, after being armed with the brain of Shinichi Kudo, of course. 'Cept, I just use it for evil. Muahaha. (And also, a couple of ideas on how to kill people sure does come in handy, and what better to gain knowledge than to read DC! XD)

Finale

THAT cocky boy of high intelligence

That aspiring detective with much diligence

Revered, well-known, and very proud

His ego can reach up to the highest cloud

But that soon changed on a fateful day

Which at first everything went his way

He was happy, with his best friend by his side

But from fate he couldn't hide

He met those suspicious men in black

He felt the need to watch his back

But followed the men to try to discover

What exactly they were trying to cover

But he was clumsy, he was found out

And before he could utter a shout

They overpowered him, and with force

Fed him the drug seemingly behind closed doors

He didn't die; he woke up as a child

It's a thought that could make anyone go wild

He didn't know what to do; what'll happen next

He just had to rely on his instincts and reflex

And fate had it that he met the other girl

The only other person in the world

In the same situation as him, it was a shock

His eyes were wide, his lips were locked

When he learnt of the girl's identity true

He was, but without a clue

To whether, and how, he was going to die

Under this strange girl's watchful eye

He blamed her for his current state

She blamed him for her sister's fate

Yet, together, they learnt how to forgive

To forget it all and just, in harmony, live

Every day by day, night by night

Following the shining beam of light

That represents the hope that it'll all end

With the foe down and no loss of friends

But it's all a dream, it's just a vision

It's not possible that they'll succeed with the mission

But in the meanwhile it's okay to dream

Together, underneath the sun's radiant beam

A/N: Kinda got a bit weird in the end... but... *looks up* *sees Ran* *cowers slightly* OMG. Gotta run. Bye!!!

(Karate is not a force to be reckoned with. Believe me. I know. I'm nearly a black belt in it. Nearly.)
