Author's note: I haven't written in ages, and I really missed it. I've gotten really into Psych, especially recently, and decided that doing the 100 words challenge over at Psychfic was worth trying out, if only to get the juices flowing. Since I still have this account, I might as well use it. The challenge prompts "witness" and "listen carefully."
"Shawn, how did you know that noise was going to be on the tape?"
"Gus, the tape was twenty years old. Tapes had all sorts of noise even when they were brand new."
"And you just knew that guy would buy that it was a ghost saying I saw you do it,' making him confess to a cold case that the ghost didn't even mention."
"Didn't you see his wallet? He's a member of a fan club for that ghost show with the plumbers. They pull that stuff all the time. Of course he'd buy it."
