A/N: Um... Lola centric one-shot cause the idea gripped me. Enjoy!

Disclaimer: I do not own Camp Rock.

She watches everything around her

She really does

It's what she has been doing from she doesn't know when.

And it is addictive

Because it's like a Technicolor movie

But one that's real.

--

She watches as Mitchie soars to the top

Flying really so high

That she seems untouchable

And unstoppable

She reigns for a while

And then falls back down

[Transient fame.]

--

She watches as Shane hits rock bottom

Or maybe even deeper

And sinks into

A morass of misery

And despair

With a bottle of amber liquid by his side

[Constant companion.]

--

She watches as Nate breaks away

From the Connect 3 juggernaut

And plays with a passion

Unnoticed in the sidelines

And finally makes it on his own

Out of the shadows

[Sweet freedom.]

--

She watches as Caitlyn steps into the limelight

For the first time

And enjoys the attention and respect

Of everyone

Who thought she was

Just another crazy girl with a laptop

[Deserved dues.]

--

She watches as Jason speaks out

And surprises everyone

With his knowledge

Of what happens around him.

He isn't stupid

Just observant and reserved

[Self expression.]

--

She watches as Tess grows a backbone

And stands up to her tyrant

Of a role model

And lets her mother know

Exactly who she is.

She is Tess Tyler

[Confident assertion.]

--

And she Lola;

She just fades away into the background

Once again

Unnoticed, unimportant.

Because she does not belong to

A Technicolor movie

She belongs to the

Beautiful and silent

Black and white ones

The ones that fade into obscurity

When faced with the splendor of color.

[Silent spectator.]

A/N: reviews would be very much appreciated cause I worked hard on this one and want to know if it paid off. :)
