Shallow Waters
Ch. 1
There were once two teenagers, a boy and a girl that would play in a small creek a little up from Littleroot Town, Hoenn.
The teenagers' names were Sapphire and Ruby.
Sapphire had a light brown hair and blue clothes that complimented her sparkling sapphire eyes. While Ruby had Jet black hair that was hidden by his hat, he wore red clothes that matched his Ruby eyes.
Two Pokémon native to Hoenn arrived at the creek, one who looked like a black and white Reindeer with a purple scarf and purple eyes. The other Pokémon was a purple fox-like creature with its inside ears red, paws blue as well as spots above her green eyes.
Ruby suggested they give the strange Pokémon names, eventually earing the Fox-like Pokémon with the name 'Brooke' and the Rein-deer like Pokémon the name 'Jay'.
The Pokémon and humans always liked to play in the shallow part of the creek. As days, nights, and months passed the two Pokémon noticed that Ruby and Sapphire had started to get closer. Brooke and Jay didn't like that, for it could ruin the friendship the foursome had built over the months if it had turned out bad. Brooke had said to Jay "I don't like how close they are getting." Jay had nodded in agreement. Then Jay and Brooke had found them holding hands walking away without a goodbye. The Pokémon were shocked.
After day after day the visits of the trainer and coordinator became fewer and fewer. Jay and Brooke would sit and wait for them to come only to be disappointed.
