A Radical Romance
Synopsis: A bit of Mituna/Latula fluff. Read and enjoy.
It was a sunny day, just choice for hitting the rails, ramps and anything either one of us could think of to olley, volley or half pipe off of or against. I had been showing off my wicked moves to Tula and she was impressed.
'You've really improved since last time. You could compete in the Alternian X-Games.', she complimented. I felt my cheeks flouresce neon yellow at her lofty praise. There was absolutely no way I could compete with Tulip. She exceeded me at every turn.
'Speaking of fresh moves, check it !', she said. I saw her run at full speed straight toward a wall. I almost didn't wish to look but then she ran against it as if she was scaling it with her own speed. Then she performed spectacular flips and twists. I had nearly forgotten how acrobatic and sensational she was in performing these aerial feats.
'Woah...sweet. Way radical, babe.', I breathed, seeing that she hadn't even broken a sweat or become fatigued. I felt compelled to kiss her, right then and there for no particular reason.
'This is even more algebraic than what you just accomplished.', I said, leaning her back and planting a savory, succulent smacker on those lucious black lips of her's. She gripped me tightly and kissed me in return, leaving me breathless. I didn't want the moment to end. I hoped that every moment could be that way with her, even if I didn't always tell her outright every second of every day. Somehow though, Latula knew. She knew my deepest feelings and thoughts and that was what made our matespriteship all the more radical and uncanny.
Latula led me to the most romantic locale I could ever imagine; the skate park. It had been here where we met in the park during summer time. The sun was just like it had been today, except we were experiencing a bountiful, colorful and crisp autumn. The weather had been more akin to an Indian summer but neither one of us were complaining.
'Come on ! It's just like old times, dude !', she said, with contageous enthusiasm. In nanoseconds, she and I were bobbing, weaving, winding and catching unreal air. It was one time I felt like I could fly and she looked angelic in her gravity defying moves. She was elegant, refined and positively mesmerising. I was so caught by her motions that I accidentally knocked myself out on the guardrails of the skate ramp.
'Mituna ! Dude, are you ok ? That was a nasty wipeout, man.', She said, cradling his head. My head was positively splitting. I was certain that our date had been ruined.
'My noggin is in considerable pain.', I answered honestly. Tula held me to her heart and I could hear nothing but her heart beating, quickly. I was sure that was from all our activity, but then I saw her blushing lightly. I smiled, despite my agony. I felt healing energy flowing from her into my body and before long, I was whole.
'I'm dying for a bite to eat. How's pizza sound ?', she said, helping me up. We left the ramp and walking along with me to our favorite pizza place. We ordered all of our favorite toppings, including live mealworms with Red Pop. The dessert pizza was even more decadent and we had enough to take back to our hives with us.
'I love you, Tula.', I said, a bit more quietly than usual. I didn't know how many more times I would have the chance to tell her this even though she sensed my adoration for her at all times. Even though neither one of us knew what the future held for either of us, it didn't matter. Our love would get us through the best or worst of times. It was our bond and our vow. All that mattered is the joy we shared and the fact that even in dreams were were one and the same, and Tula knew that better than anyone else. Sometimes it took a simple kiss to remind me of that fact, and that was all I wanted and kept me fulfilled for sweeps to come until we could be together once more.
