I lowered myself to the ground, slithering slickly thru the leaf covered ground as I fixated my crimson stare on my unsuspecting prey. I slowed my movements; my breathed brushed softly on my upper lip, my feline like moves had now taken a more threatening agility and everything had become blurred in my vision, leaving nothing other than the Jungle Fowl in my hungered view. Using my slightly muscular arms to push my thin body up from the laying position I had almost felt condemned to, I raised my freshly sharpened spear above my head with only the glinting rock signaling my presence.

I closed my eyes, inching closer to the wild bird I smiled victoriously and smacked my lips in anticipation at the idea of the crisped meat, seasoned with the finest herbs I could find in the jungle. I was merely ten feet away from the fowl when, a branch had snapped underneath my tanned foot as I hurled the weapon forward at the chick who had scurried frantically away from the blade. I froze, my hands slowly balling themselves into small fist and trembling from a wave of fury that contorted my face into a frightful grimace. I howled angrily and rammed my fist against a nearby tree and immediately crying out as splinters pricked my now, blood dripping palm. Swallowing down another growl I crept around with my eyes darting cautiously around the vegetation crowded area, making sure no predators were stalking me. Making my way thru the dangerously pointed tree branches and bushes I sighed in exasperation, muttering curse and shoving leafs out of already blurred vision with my unharmed left hand. Approaching a glimmering object further away I could feel my mouth gap open in shock, watching piles of dried meat lay on the ground, completely unattended with no hints of even having an owner to begin with.

I crouched over, sprinting over to the food, preparing myself to happily dive in but, once again, my plan was foiled by a cool object being pressed up against my throat. I furrowed my eyebrows, looking up slowly with an angered aura radiating off my scarred skin and my vividly colored eyes glaring daggers at whoever dared to interrupt my eating. A particularly tall, dark skinned girl stood there with her midnight blue eyes staring deeply at me with amusement. Her short navy tinted hair spiked in different directions yet, fell perfectly against her prominent cheek bones and her body stood proud with her curves exposed by the loincloth that held tightly on her wide hips, her blemish free skin glowed a pale cocoa color that just allured me even more. I blushed under her intimidating stare and my eyes blazed wildly in hidden interest, anger with confusion being the most prominent emotions shown.

"Anata dare?(Who are you ?)" She questioned, twirling the blade along my jugular vein and chuckling lowly in amusement at how I shuddered and backed away.

I cocked my eyebrow, intrigued by the strange however, familiar sounding language. Before I opened my mouth to ask her a question I was viciously shoved against a tree, my arms pinned above my head and a more frightening, ocean blue orbs staring me down and leaving me breathless with a painful burning spreading throughout my back
