A/N: OTP time! I absolutly LOVE Nuna, and I shall write a Nuna story!

Just Neville

Neville Longbottom was never known for extreme bravery, nor was he known for intellect, cunning or hard working abilities. He was known as the boy who kept losing his toad. The boy in Gryffindor. Alice and Frank's son. Never as Neville.

Now, he wanted to change the way people remembered him.

The Battle of Hogwarts had ended mere months ago, and his girlfriend of two years, Luna Terra Lovegood, was tending to a Nargle infestation at a friend's house. Neville was out, at Diagon Alley, trying to find a jewellry store through all the crowds.

When he finally found one, he headed for the back corner, looking at rings. His eyes fell on the perfect ring for Luna.

The band was a grey-gold, etched with tiny hearts. The gems were rubies and sapphires, two of each. The ring looked perfect, reflecting both Gryffindor and Ravenclaw perfectly.

He payed six Galleons for the ring, and Apparated back home, where Luna was waiting.

He told Luna he had a surprise to show her, so she let him blindfold her. He gripped her hand tightly, and Apparated to just outside of Hogwarts.

Neville led Luna to a clearing in the forest, where he had first run into her by mistake.

A pack of Thestrals were grazing there, just lazing around.

Neville finally let Luna remove the blindfold, letting her grey eyes examine the area.

When her eyes fell onto Neville, he was down on one knee, the ring he bought floating above his nose.

"Luna, you are an amazing girlfriend. You make me laugh, can make me feel better when I cry, you love plants and animals as much as I do. I guess what I'm trying to say is, Luna, will you marry me?" he asked wistfully. Luna was at a loss for words. Tears fell freely down her cheeks. She threw her arms around Neville's neck and nodded into his shoulder. Neville let the ring glide safely into his palm before tapping Luna's shoulder to show her the ring. She let out a loud, audible gasp.

Tears continued to streak down her face as Neville slipped the ring onto her left hand gently.

"Oh Neville, it's beautiful!" she gushed.

"I thought you'd like it." he said. Neville placed an arm around Luna's waist, leading her to a patch of grass under a gorgous Weeping Willow.

He sat down, patting the ground next to him for Luna to sit next to him.

When she did, he ran his right hand through her blonde curls aimlessly, staring into her mesmerizing grey eyes.

Luna occupied herself by tangling her right hand into Neville's brown waves, staring into his green eyes.

The distance between the two became sparce, and their lips connected.

Neville's lefthand wrapped itself around Luna's waist, dragging her down, closer to the ground.

Luna's left hand grabbed Neville's neck, the fingers lacing into his hair like her right hand.

The stayed like that for a few minutes, before one needed to come up for air.

"I love you." Neville whispered.

"I love you, too." Luna whispered back.

A/N: What do you think? I'm not the best with romamce type stories. I'm more of an adventure/drama/humor writer, so if this is bad, please tell me.
