As Long As We're Apart

The rain pours down my window
It reflects the way I feel.
I know you didn't love me.
I just need time to heal.
I can't forget the way
You move and how you are
It's something I'll remember
And my heart will bear a scar.
I'll think I've lost the feelings,
But then you'll reappear.
In a dream, or in a song
I'll just happen to hear.
Then once again, your grey eyes
Will haunt me in my mind.
I try to block you out,
But it will take some time.
I know you never loved me,
But I'll bear you in my heart.
Forever, I will long for you,
As long as we're apart.
