My Kingdom
Mystic beings of another realm,
Dark Elves who see no Light,
Fire Demons who rule the night,
Are all a part of my Kingdom.
A niece who rules the Underworld,
A father who sleeps, but never dies,
A brother of Mischief, Magic, and Lies,
Are all a part of my Kingdom.
Golden castles on a cloud,
Frozen palaces of the Jotunheim,
Midgaurdian cities whose protection is mine,
Are all a part of my kingdom.
A weapon bestowed by the ruler past,
Thunder and Lightning in the palm of my hand,
An army of gods heeds my command,
And with them I protect my Kingdom.
But something bright Burns in the dark,
A Midgaurdian maiden smiles at me.
Her presence and love make me feel free,
And I know, without her, there is no point of my Kingdom.
